I'm here if he needs a full body rub

WTF...turns out the whole team was injured!

Better to get it all out of the way now...hope he has a speedy recovery from this.

The guy is a complete warrior.

i hope he gets will soon. and when he dose come back. i will throw something in my tv if BB ever puts him to return a punt again.

over 110 rec for 3 years in a row is a nuff work he dose not need to play on ST

Screw the Rocky analogy, this guy is a terminator...

Why do people thing ST is this stepchild of a meaningless part of the game? ST is a BIG part of football.

I'm guessing that either (A) it's a minor issue or (B) they just discovered this earlier this week.

In either case, remember that he was getting along on crutches at the Ravens game. How on earth would he do that with a torn rotator cuff?

"torn" is very vague, hell you technically have "torn" muscles after a weight lifting session. I'm guessing it is very minor, but that still doesn't take away from the fact that Welker is the man

yes i agree ST is a big part of the game but i can't see puting your best WR to return punts when he is realy not a great punt retuner

he only averaged 12.5 per return. Edelman, 10.5 per return. not wort the 2 yerds IMO.

Yup!

It was the rotten turf. No wonder they ripped the miserable stuff up.

Also remember that the game plan was opposing defenses was to injure Welker. They would dress it up and say they wanted to put a big hit on Welker but the truth is that they wanted to injure him. And alas it turns out that he is not indestructible; all those hits did hurt.

The Patriots were also guilty of over using him last season instead of spreading the ball around to say the tightends and RBs. The offense was highly predictable and the opposing defenses were able to put the big hit on Welker because they knew the ball was coming to him.

We really wont have anybody catching passes this year will we... ???

Valid point, I agree if there is someone similar/better than Welker they should get the returns.
