Kevin Faulk Agrees to Terms with The Patriots

I just got an email from The Patriots on Facebook that Kevin Faulk has agreed to terms. Welcome back old friend!

Good to hear - though hardly surprising.

Indeed! Good to have #33 back on the team..... Great news!

Re: Kevin Faulk Agrees to Terms with The Patriots

Good for the Patriots and Kevin.

Excellent.

Our current version of Troy Brown.

Glad to see Kevin on board - - a leader and a consistent player who knows the game and can help a (possible) draft choice.

Very happy about this re-signing. :)

great now we need to focus on bringing in a solid WR, preferably better than josh reed, but no worse

I'm very interested in seeing what type of money he got compared to Taylor/Jones. I thought the Jones deal was dirt cheap @ 2yr/5mi

Got the same message on fb. What are the odds that we still take a RB in the draft? Should we still let go of LMO?

I don't think that Faulk re-signing precludes the Pats from taking a RB. Anyone they draft will replace one of the Taylor/Morris/Maroney triumvirate

Kind of goes along with what Kraft said on WEEI about the locker room, having solid people and how a few bad apples can ruin the chemistry. Faulk was one of the fanatic ones on the sidelines at the end of the season last year.

Freakin' love this guy. Great news.

Faulk signing has no effect on either of those things.

i'd say that the odds are pretty high that they will take a RB at some point in the draft. Im hopeful that it will be with one of those second rounders.

one-year deal per WEEI.com

I like Dexter McCluster as a future Kevin Faulk replacement.

So what we have is the same team who got blown out at home by Baltimore just a year older and minus Wes Welker. Awesome stuff.

Cue the 'He's a troll" posts, sorry don't see any reason to drink any kool-aid.

You think Kevin Faulk was part of the problem?

The team that got blown out by Baltimore didn't have Welker. And "just a year older" can also mean "a year more experience for all the young players".

As for the "same team", I'd be willing to wager that the roster as currently presented is not in fact the one that they start the season with.
