I'm pretty sure if Moss wanted to dog, he just would have sat out with a separated shoulder.

Adalius Thomas, Chris Baker. So far, those two are confirmed doggers. I'm sure there are more. The defense was the unit that consistently collapsed under pressure last year. I'm sure we will figure it out as more cuts and trades go down.

I doubt it's Moss that he is referring to, why would he say this:

VW had a similar tone in the phone call with WEEI.

I like it. Including talent, what made the teams from earlier this decade so successful was peer-level accountability.

For those of us who have ever played organized sports, letting down your coach is one thing. Letting down your teammates is another.

At any rate, I like what I am hearing.

Big Vince looks like he's gonna earn every penny of his contract. I hope this works, Id love to see him be one of the new leaders on this team. Maybe this will help Mayo, etc step up.

People also wonder why we would dare accuse the media of anything other than objectivity and inside information!

It is now proven that Florio either has the IQ of a preschooler or he believes his readers have the IQ of a preschooler. He ripped one quote from Wilfork, insinuated it was about Moss, and ignored the DIRECT opposite from Wilfork:

Springs underperformed but I didn't have the impression that he was a bad seed and that his problems were performance-related. No?

Whats interesting is that he had a rep as being a bad apple in SEA, but turned it around in WASH.

Vince always comes across as one of the straightest dudes in the NFL. When he has something to say he says it. I think he has always been happy here and with his new contract he is now a Patriot for life. Great way to start off on a new contract.

Why do you feel Mayo has to "step up"?????

The kid was a non-stop machine his rookie year and was taking over the play calling in year two.

He had his knee sliced in the first game, came back 3 weeks earlier than expected and played well, if not prematurely.

Mayo does not need to "step up". The guy is A1.

Moss isn't even the most logical subject, if Vince was calling individuals out, which he isn't.

I agree Vince.

I also think any publication that pretends to be authoritative but makes up stuff constantly for sensationalism needs to be called out.

I'm perfectly fine if Mount W meant it for Moss (shot across the bow).

Moss needs to focus on 2010 season, but by the statements he(Moss) made in the recent article it sounds like he could easily be tuning out and would not shock me he goes through the motions upcoming season. He's done it in the past with Vikes and Raiders.
