6 7th round picks!! The Pats are gonna OWN the 7th round!!!!
I guess there is always a chance that they could hit on a flyer or two. If this is the deepest draft since 1983, having a bunch of picks at the end will put the Pats ahead of the game in UDFA market.
I'd like to get 4 players with our top 4 picks. Then, draft the boom/bust type. Who cares it 5 can't find Rhode Island on the map and make it to training camp, as long as 1-2 turn out to be players.
On a more serious note, there are some awesome looking sleepers in this year's draft. We could potentially get some real players later on. Pretty exciting.

The names in red were major-conference players experienced at their positions but lacking in physical attributes and skills. The names in blue were shoot-the-moon prospects with great athletic potential but no high level experience at their prospective positions.

Hmmm. Interesting. Morton should be a third color though, since he had the skills (I think he's still in the league). He was a 7th rounder due to character question marks.
Belichick has done very, very well with these picks.
Cassell, Andrews and Edelman were solid contributers for us. Morton is a perennial backup and still in the league. That's a 50% hit rate, without counting on Richard for anything.

With Schofield having blown out his knee during Senior Bowl practices, I'm not sure if the Pats take a flyer on him or not..
Eddie Adamski - C Kyle Mutcher - C Juamorris Stewart - WR - Say him in the Texas vs. the Nation game. Very good route runner and willing to go over the middle. Trindon Holliday - KR - I know they list him as a WR, but this kid is just electric as a KR. And his size (5'5") helps him avoid many tackles. Kelton Tindal - WR - 6'2 and is expected to run his 40 in the low 4.3s and possibly in the 4.2s. Good at adjusting to the deep throws.. Is extremely raw on running routes (Think high school freshman raw). Needs work with the Jugs machine.. Jim Dray - A lot of people liked this kid prior to the Combine. He is a smooth route runner, can catch the ball and is a good blocker. The issues seem to be that he's from Stanford, coming off a knee injury and doesn't seem to have a lot of upside..
Crezdon Butler - CB -
Josh Hull - ILB - Said during the TX vs. Nation game that he wants to play for the Pats. Has the size the Pats look for at ILB. He's stout against the run and he likes to mix it up inside.. He also showed he's decent at dropping back into coverage.
