Looks like Ryan Clark to the Dolphins

Wow. They aren't doing much of a good job replacing Wilson. Clark is just as terrible in coverage. He lays the wood, but can be burned consistently.

I'm not a fan of Clark's game, and I think he was really exposed without Troy P. around to cover for him last season. That being said, if Davis and Smith make the leap, Clark's dirty hitting could be a very useful thing in that secondary.

The entire Steelers defense was exposed without Polamalu playing. He's an exceptionally rare talent that man.

All true, but he is a monster hitter. Who is the Patriots hardest hitter on D? Scary question huh? I guess I would say James Sanders. I know that sounds like a ridiculous answer, but I can't think of anyone who hits harder.

Hitstick Meriweather, of course ;)

Seriously, though? Chung and Meriweather are both known for wrecking guys.

Chung. Thats a good answer. I didn't even think of him. Meriweather is a good answer too. When he hits a guy, its hard, he just seems to miss a lot. I think I prefer Meriweather as the deep safety in coverage.

All four of our safeties are big hitters. I think McGowan lays the most wood of the bunch, though.

And drops the most LB coverage handoffs which is why we saw him disappear midseason. Laying wood is overrated. But what is valued is knowing when to lay wood and when to wrap up, and Rodney was the best at this.

In our secondary, McG hits the hardest. Meriweather tries to hit hard but I am yet to see a player show signs of hurt/pain after Meriweather hits them.

I don't see much fault with this statement.
