Trade Possibilities:

1. Marshawn Lynch, Bills: He's got a well-rounded game and could use a fresh start.

2. Ronnie Brown, Dolphins: Is it that crazy to give up a first-round pick for Brown? That's what he'd cost as a restricted free agent.

3. Leon Washington, Jets: A team would have to give up a second-round pick for Leon, which probably won't happen. The Jets would likely match any offer sheet anyhow.

4. Michael Bush, Raiders: He's the most intriguing Raiders back, yet oddly seems like the one most available. Oakland should hang on to Bush.

5. Marion Barber, Cowboys: The Cowboys say they won't deal him, but a move makes a lot of sense.

6. Pierre Thomas, Saints: He would only cost a second-round pick to get, but we suspect the Saints would match any offers.

How fast is Maroney?
If he had a good 40 score, maybe old Al would trade us Michael Bush for
Maroney.

Michael Bush would be great in the Patriots offense.
He has great hands and he is big enough to convert a 4th & 1.

Re: Michael Bush may be avaiable !

This is probably the first trade thread of the offseason I agree with. Michael Bush has a lot of upside, and can run between the tackles, and is young. I'd gladly trade Maroney and a low draft pick (maybe a 6th or something) for Bush.

Wow, saw some highlights, reminds me of Corey Dillon.

Only 25 years old, with a 4.8ypc. He hasn't been used to his potential it seems.

We wouldn't have to draft a powerback. Maroney straight up.

EDIT: 6'1" 245 pounds, sign me up!

Re: Michael Bush may be avaiable !

I'd love Michael Bush. He was a beast at Louisville, just broke his leg at the wrong time. Since sitting out most of his rookie year recuperating, I think he has been pretty healthy. I seem to recall they entertained some trade offers for him a year ago, but nothing came to pass. Not sure what he'd cost either, but him and Maroney would be very complementary backs.

Trade for him NOW !!!!!!!!!

LoMo + Adalius +5th for M. Bush and our 3rd back !

Re: Michael Bush may be avaiable !

And he can block out of the backfield

Re: Michael Bush may be avaiable !

Intriguing idea...but somehow I don't think Davis will want to get fleeced by the Patriots yet again.

Davis would want one of the 2nd rounders.

Re: Michael Bush may be avaiable !

Of all the backs on the list, give me Marion Barber. Easily one of the best hardnosed backs around. I'll never forget his 2 yard, dodge a million tackles run to avoid a safety.

That is probably the most epic trade I've seen and I could see Al Davis taking that easily. Gets rid of the problems, got the powerback, gets a 3rd rounder.

Al made a mistake trading us Randy Moss for a 4th round pick.

You got to give Al a little credit. He did get a 3rd & a 5th for a washed
up Burgess.

I am sure after that trade, Al will be more than willing to trade with us
again.

Re: Michael Bush may be avaiable !

Piling up a bunch of trash into one trade is not attractive, no one effin' wants AT and LoMo.

Nobody wanted Moss either, what's your point ? LoMo would complement McFadden, not like he'll be a feature back. Raiders already dumped Justin Fargas.

Raiders and Al don't care what others think, and they've been willing trade partners with PAts for a long time, dating back to Doug Gabriel, well actually dating back to Mik Haynes

he is avialable in part due to his running style.seems like he is slowed down and injured. maybe you mean 1 or 2 highlight runs a year?

Re: Michael Bush may be avaiable !

Man, Al is stupid. Bush is the best player in the Raiders' backfield (I'd take him over McFadden). If he's available, then of course the Pats should go after him.

I could be wrong, but he always looks like a guaranteed positive yardage guy to me. We could do with somebody like him to smash away at the D-Line 10-15 times per game. I'd be delighted to see the old University of Minnesota backfield reunited in Foxboro.

Re: Michael Bush may be avaiable!

Why trade Maroney for him? He seems like he would compliment Maroney perfectly. I'd have him with a Flying Elvis on his helmet in a heartbeat.

Re: Michael Bush may be avaiable!

Like Bush. Like the thought of paring him with LoMo.
