look at their track record over the past few years for trades and FA

Alan Faneca, Calvin Pace,Thomas Jones Kris Jenkins, Braylon Edwards, Marc Sanchez and now Cromartie

Now lets look at the PATS:
Chris Baker, Joey Galloway, Fred Taylor, Duane Starks,Derrick Burgess,

You be the Judge...whose FO is doing a better job

Now lets hope the PATS do not sit around on their ass*es with the old "we're going to be patient and see whats left over attitude"
this will be asure path to third place in the division

Duane Starks was in 2005...

(Then again, I do remember being in stands for that Nov. 2005 Colts game when they started Starks at CB and Gay and Stone at safety and got torched...)

I really hope Belichick reads this thread ... he needs to know these things by the time the clock strikes 12.

He may have meant Shawn Springs. Or Greg Lewis. Or Alex Smith.

Yeah, but he's also ignoring Jabar Gaffney, Wes Welker, Leigh Bodden, and Randy Moss, among others.

I wouldn't go that far. Besides the Pats didn't have a 3rd rounder to trade this year. So they were never in the Cromartie hunt.

Sorry...to those who say I am cherry picking..

I forgot to add Greg Lewis and Prescott Burgess, Shawn Springs and Alex Smith

I guess the point I am making is why not target a guy early that you really want and go after him instead of being passive and waiting for whatever crap is left over

Like how to ineptly run a team for the past 25 years?

It's cool how you forget to mention some guys like Moss and Welker. Though I admit the Jets' signing of Sanchez as a FA was a good one.

Free agency hasn't even begun yet. You go be a jets fan, A cornerback who can't tackle and who doesn't have the quick twitch to keep up with the likes of welker, edelman, tate, I'm not scared or impressed. I have faith in BB and co.

Dolphins have a 5 year offer for Rolle.

The pats go after old players with questions thats why they have failed. When the pats make big moves they go to the super bowl.

Indeed, it is amazing how the Jets have never once missed on a FA signing these past few years. I guess that explains all of their division, conference, and SB championships.

Yes the Jets are clearly the class of the league and we're the ones without a title in decades.

Colvin
Adalius
Stallworth
Bodden
Rodney
Trading for trading for Moss, Welker, Corey Dillon, Vrabel, Mt. Washington

Now, you fit into the ****** category. Must be the lost son of Rich Kotite

Hey Ramon- just curious... who's your second favorite team?

It was a 3rd rounder in 2011. At the same time this isn't a move that's going to push the Jets into immediate SB contention.

I agree the Pats FO should learn from the Jets. This decade alone the Jets have won 3 Super Bowls, been in four Super Bowls, been in five AFC Championships, went 18-0, won seven AFC championships, and won at least 10 games every season since 2002. Oh wait, that is the Patriots.

Seriously, this thread needs to go to the practice squad and the original poster needs to wear the virtual dunce cap for the next week.

Cromartie is going into the last year of his contract, and any deal they give him, they will have to double the next year for Revis.

The Jets have 4 draft picks in the upcoming draft, they can not sign any UFAs, this is not the way to build a team.

Ramon masquerades as a Pats fan for a year and
then blows his wad on the eve of free agency ... go figure.:bricks:
