Vrabel would come back in a heartbeat

I'll take him back in a heartbeat!!!!

As our OLB coach. ;)

To me taking Vrabel back would be like another Junior Seau signing - The man has lost his linebacking edge but certainly is a helluva locker room guy

I'll take some more leadership, please.

Me thinks there is more than meets the eye, but I dont think we will se mr vrabel in a pats uniform again

”I’d go back in a heartbeat. Why wouldn’t I?” Vrabel said in between sips of coffee. ”Put it this way, I’d go back, but I highly doubt they’d want me back.”

Not sure how much he has left for the field. I believe not much.

Character, toughness and leadership concerns are a non-issue with Vrabes.

It's hard to imagine Vrabel having anything left in the tank when I didn't think twice about us parting with him in the Cassel trade. That said, we missed him in the locker room, for sure.

Is he ready to coach yet?

You can argue that if he's on our roster right now, he's a starting OLB.

There's no such thing as a starter on February 26, so you can't argue anything.

I can argue that Brady is our starting QB.

You -can- argue what you want, but there are no guaranteed starters right now :p

But anyway, I'm overstating it. There's a lot of time left before our roster is settled for the first game.

I don't know how he can play but I'd LOVE to have him as a linebacker coach and maybe as DC down the road.

My point was, if Vrabel was on our roster right now, his name would be on our first team defense. I'm not saying Vrabel is great, it speaks more about the quality of players we have at OLB.

I think Bruschi would be a better coach.....of all the defensive characters over the last decade Bruschi was the most intense guy of all IMO and you need that intensity to be a good one

Maybe bring Vrabel back as a situational fullback or TE,He was pretty good in those situations before :)

And I'm saying if Vrabel were signed today, our opening day roster would not have him as a starter, so your -point- is moot.

It's almost like after 1 month of the season saying "if the playoffs started tomorrow..."

Oh, I didn't get the memo from Bill yet...

I see no reason not to have both:D

Depending on who does better you can make your decision who to promote where.

I'd take him in as a back-up OLB, but not as a starter. His value in the locker room would make him a big asset.
