Perhaps we can have this as a floating thread for all small school prospect news.

Josh Buchanan has a solid reputation on this level -- here's his current top 100:

Small School Top 100 - February 18

---

These are 5 players I plan on following:

2. WR Andre' Roberts
3. DE/OLB Austen Lane
5. OT Jared Veldheer
7. ILB Danny Batten
19. RB Deji Karim

RB Pat Paschall North Dakota State
RB Joique Bell Wayne State (MI)
OLB Arthur Moats James Madison
OLB Adrian Tracy William & Mary
DT Sean Lissemore William & Mary
OT Derek Hardman Eastern Kentucky
CB Patrick Stoudamire Western Illinois
WR Marc Mariani Montana
OT Tyler Eastman Maine
OT Chris Campbell Eastern Illinois
OLB Timothy Knicky Stephen F. Austin
OT Nick McDonald Grand Valley State
FS Shann Schillinger Montana
TE Daniel Beaudin Montana
TE Steven Pfahler Montana

Bell had pretty good reviews coming out of the the senior bowl if I am not mistaken. He may be worth a flier in the later rounds. I don't see the sense in burning one of our first 4 picks on a RB as the roster currently stands. A 4th/5th round pick would probably be a good use for running back though. I think there will be 2 solid RBs to come out of the later rounds this year...hopefully the Pats find one of them!

Bell played in the senior bowl and had arguably the best RB performance.

Must have gotten the games confused. Hard to keep track of all these college bowls/allstar games. thanks for the correction.

I'll like for New England to consider these players.

4 CB Akwasi Owusu-Ansah Indiana PA
8 QB John Skelton Fordham
12 RB Joique Bell Wayne State (MI)
19 RB Deji Karim Southern Illinois

RB James Starks Buffalo
DT Torell Troup Central Florida
SS Quinton Andrews North Alabama

If Batten runs in the high 4.5's at 260 pounds, he would make an ideal SILB with a year or two of development.

Batten and Karim for sure. Not familiar with Lissemore, will have to check him out.
He was the DL credited with the Safety in TvN, he got some good press from the pit drills and showed strength, penetration, and hustle during the game - Mike Wright style.

Where do you project Campbell to go?

How about Tony Washington from Abilene Christian?
Tony Washington
NFL Draft Scout doesn't rank him, which makes him a UDFA on their board. He was invited to TvN and reportedly had a good week so he probably should be considered a UDFA 25-50 ranked OL (he could kick inside to Guard).

Washington is listed as a borderline 7th/PFA - however...

Tony Washington, Abilene Christian, T: Washington ranked among the best senior tackles in the nation coming into the '09 season, but his play last year was disappointing. He must answer several off-the-field questions.
Translation - he's got a 10 cent head.

Lol, Box, do you ever sleep? You're a very dedicated round the clock contributor to PatsFans. You seem to be posting at every hour of the day :singing:

My cat only allows me cat naps. :(

Was disappointed with Bell's 40 time, I thought he'd be able to run a low 4.5, but he was superb in every other drill. He looked like he belonged amongst the rest of the RB's yesterday.

Allow me to add, regardless of positional need:

(Combine invitees need not apply...you're still my boy, Taylor Price)

Joe Webb WR Alabama-Birmingham
Juamorris Stewart WR Southern
Kelton Tindal WR Newberry
Chris Zardas FB Maine
Casey Knips OT South Dakota St
Matt McCracken G Richmond
Austin Steichan C Northern Iowa
Martin Tevaseu NT UNLV
Chris McCoy ILB Middle Tennessee St
Thad Turner CB Ohio
Philip Adams CB South Carolina St
Gabe Derricks CB San Diego
Jeromy Miles S UMass
Chinso Echebelem S Tulane

OLB, Arthur Moats, James Madison is the guy I'm most intrigued by.
