Bodden re-hires former agent Keels - Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston

According to the article, Alvin Keels was the agent who guided Bodden to accept the 1 yr deal with the Pats last year.

Reiss states that there is potential for the player and the team to pick up where they left off last year (regarding convos on the long-term deal) but IMO it could also go the other way. Keels could have been the one to tell LB to reject the multi-year deal and test the market after the 09 season.

Either way, and interesting development nonetheless.

If he was with him through Cleveland to Detroit and oblivion maybe he apprecaites the fact that a bad situation doesn't always net your man the cash he was thinking he was entitled to.
