Personally i enjoyed it on saturdays since its usually nice weather sprouting and you can spend the entire day on the couch drinking.

Thursday means we sit at
work all day and by the time most of us get home the draft will be starting.

Plus its one of my favorite days of the year.

What do you guys think?

What's dumber?
Draft on a Thursday
Pro Bowl before Super Bowl

I'd say it's a tossup but the NFL doesn't give a crap what I think.

It's going to be long and drawn out. In fact, by Saturday no one will be watching either from boredom or the fact most people cannot spend 3 days of their life without doing anything productive.

I do like all the extra time there will be for trades.

I think it's great. I used to blow an entire weekend watching the draft. Now, I'll get to ignore the entire thing, and do something else, and just check the internet to see who was drafted.

That's not so good for the Ommissioner, but it's great for me.

I honestly dont care either way. Its not like anything good comes on Thursdays that I have to watch.

...as long as you aren't the 70 million women that have Grey's Anatomy wine parties every Thurs night the draft will be the show of choice.

Couldn't agree more. Draft was like my 2nd Christmas, excepted it lasted for two days. Spend both days unwrapping gifts without the stress of work with a lot of booze involved. Now I'll be rushing home, frazzled, trying to get organized for 7pm on thursday and friday. Sucks.

Pro Bowl before Super Bowl

This years Pro-Bowl received the highest rating for the game in 10 years, even against the Grammy Awards.

Also, the crowd of 70,697 was the largest for a Pro Bowl since 1959.

I'll have to sit through it and see how frustrated I am.

Draft should be on Friday I think. Why Thursday? It's 3 days long, Fri/Sat/Sun. That's how I'd do it.

As BB passes on your binkies time after time? LOL. The weird thing is that the one time I was excited with how BB drafted, it turned out terrible. 2006 was full of busts. I think we do best when nobody is entirely happy with how we drafted but end up with some studs anyways - like 2009.

My plans of drinking all day are now kaput because of class the following day, but I guess just drink intensely day 2.

Even then, I just care about watching us trade out first for 2 fifths or w/e well get ;), then turning it off

To spread this out over 3 days seems foolhardy, not sure why they cannot do the whole thing in one long day... not sure that this ADD nation can tolerate 3 days of speculation.. who profits.. all the speculators and mediots who will be hoarse by Sunday.

I'm very upset about it. I hate change, but this is a huge change. I love the draft. I'm disappointed in the NFL and the Commish.

Just shows how stupid everyone is. That game was a sham -- no real blocking or tackling. Also, it's hard to believe that attendance figure. The place looked half-empty on TV and I know for a fact that lower-bowl tickets were available through Ticketmaster on game day.

I like having the draft on weeknight television. It opens up the weekend for other things.

Its BS

A bunch of MLB games begin at that time.

Goodell should go for the dumbazz Trifecta and change the main game day from Sunday to Tuesdays.

Well, hes mentioning adding more regular season games to make up for lost revenue, which I am against. The season is long enough, players are all beat up and teams that clinch post season berths (like Indy) will just tank more games.

I like the change. Should be more trades now with the xtra time, making it more exciting.
