Worilds looks like a stud. Shorter than Will McGinest but his play reminds me of Willie.
I'm starting to think that the second round is where we are going to take an edge player.

You may be on to something here. I think they prob go best available in the 1st and target a player like Worilds in the 2nd. His strength and speed combo is pretty impressive

Worilds is my favorite candidate for OLB but he shouldn't really go in the second round. He has suffered chronic shoulder problems, which have required surgery twice now.

Worilds dominated Drew Davis so thoroughly in the season opener, it was ridiculous, and Davis is a senior who was recently voted All-ACC. He's got just about everything you would look for in a 3-4 OLB - quickness, speed, strength and superb instincts. He's demonstrated the ability to drop into coverage without a hitch, which is rare for the DE conversion projects.

I wish he were two inches taller. And the shoulder should scare of some teams. It will be very interesting to see what kind of helium he gets at the Combine.

I think Brandon Graham and Koa Misi could be two very good OLB to pick up in the draft. They are definietly in the range of picks the Pats have.

I don't get how New Era Scouting is so high on Kindle and so low on Sapp in certain areas. Like for instance, they claim Kindle has top level strength at 6'4 239, while Sapp is too weak at 6'4 242. I don't know it seems a little biased to me. I would consider Kindle and Sapp the same type of prospect. Speed edge rushers who would excel on the weak side and have good burst off the line. Both need to add some bulk. I just don't get how they compare Kindle to Ware and say Sapp is going to be overdrafted/overrated.

I'm cross posting this interview since it touches on two Linebackers discussed by a pretty good looking FB.

Manase Tonga Interview
Curt: Who is the best player you ever went up against in college?
Manase: The toughest players that I have had the pleasure of playing against were Jason Beauchamp of UNLV and Daryl Washington of TCU. Both athletic, physical, and smart players. I have a ton of respect for these two and hope to play with or against them again in the future.
