My local casino has a $1,000 Super Bowl Contest which has 12 questions and a tiebreaker...the person who has the most right of everyone or connects with the tiebreaker wins the prize.

I thought I could use a little help from members in here as I will use the answers to complete my sixth and final entry on Saturday,it is tough and most likely I will have to go 12-0 perfect or at worst 11-1 to even have a shot at it.

I will take the majority of the answers and use the majority to pick each question on the slip.

If I do win with the answers given in this forum, I will donate 5% of the winnings ($50) to Patsfans.com, so help a guy out because I really think this is a tough contest.

Here are the questions .....

1) Will Indianapolis Win the Game by more than 6 points? YES or NO

2) Will Either team score in the first 5 minutes? YES or NO

3) Will the first score in the game be a field goal? YES or NO

4) Will New Orleans score first? YES or NO

5) Which team will have the most passing yards? INDY or N.O.

6) Which team will have the most rushing yardage? INDY or N.O.

7) Will Indianapolis be leading after the first quarter? YES or NO

8) Will either team be leading at the half by more than 6 points? YES or NO

9) Will Indianapolis score more than 31 points? YES or NO

10)Will New Orleans score more than 27 points? YES or NO

11)Will Either Team score in the game's last 2 minutes? YES or NO

12)Will both teams Combined Score be over 56 points? YES or NO

Tiebreaker: What will be the total points scored in the game?

Thanks in advance for your participation in this contest and I will take the majority of votes seriously and enter it.

You set this up as a poll. Easier tabulation and easier answering.

Odds of getting 12 out of 12 would be something like 1 in 4 million. (Edit, .5 ^ 12 is 4,000 not 4 million! DOH!)

I guess you could set up a separate thread for each question and have them debated by the experts here.

Don't know if that would be any more accurate than just flipping a coin though.

Yeah, similar to what this guy said.

Each of these are seperate bets offered by sportsbooks and casinos all over the world, so in other words... you are trying to win a 12 team parlay.

If you had these questions on an actual sportsbook account, and chose them all, I'd have to guess that it'd pay out at the very least 15-20,000 dollars. (based on 25-50 dollar wager)

It's basically the same as trying to get 12 seperate wagers all correct at the same time, although the odds are crazy---good luck to you still.

If you're interested in seeing the odds on such 'propositional bets,' go to a internet sportsbook site, and click on football, super bowl, props. You'll be able to see which side is more likely to happen by the amt of money put on the specific prop. Obviously the more you have to give to win, (-120, -140) the more 'favored' the specific question/prop would be.

For ex: Manning throws more than 2 TD's could be (-125, Yes), (+115 No). Therefore, you'd know that Manning throwing 2 TD's or more is the odds on favorite.

You may have better luck trying to figure out the specific props or answers that way, instead of trying a 'pro-AFC' team's messageboard who will tend to be rooting for the NFC team, and have a biased opinion.

As it stood last night, 67% were taking the Colts and giving -5 points, while the other 33% were taking the Saints and the +5 points. This proves that almost 7 out of 10 bettors are favoring the Indy Colts, while if you made a poll here at patsfans.com, most likely 6 1/2-to 7 people (out of 10) would be favoring the Saints to win the game--mainly based on their tremendous 'hate' for anything Colts.

Again, good luck.

I would need 13 seperate polls which would take the whole front page and piss Ian off :)...couldn't do it
