what do you guys think ?

i love mock drafts, so i think it's great and love the effort. whoever ends up with the first pick and they don't take suh is crazy.

#13 San Francisco. Rolando McClain, ILB

I'm not sure if #13 is within reach, as far as Belichick is concerned. If it is, he's my target.

#22 New England Patriots. Jared Odrick DE
A solid choice, considering the remaining options. In this draft, round one prospects don't thrill me as much as they do from round two on.

Is #3 within reach? If Suh falls to #3,maybe BB can go get him.

Not going to happen. As mayoclinic has said, you could put together outstanding drafts starting with just the players available in the third round.

I think the very top is a little scrambled, but overall pretty sensible

I don't see the colts going RB again.......they need secondary help more than anything

Yeah, Suh is a unique guy. That could actually get some action on the #1 pick. St Louis is so bad, they should consider trading out. Seattle could move up for Suh giving up 6 and 14. St Louis could then get their QB at 6 and get a LT to protect him at 14.

As for Odrick, he seems like a perfect choice as long as his character issues check out.

If the draft fell like that, I would join the "trade up" crowd and send #44/#47 (and maybe another late round pick to sweeten the deal) to Atlanta for #19. Take Derrick Morgan at #19 and Jared Odrick at #22 and the rest of the draft would be gravy.

I doubt it happens. Morgan shouldn't make it out of the top 10. He is a prototype 4-3 end and is athletic enough to play on his feet as a 3-4 OLB. Meaning he would be at an impact position on defense and would never come off the field. If teams see him more as a linebacker conversion project, then he could slide a bit...but at 6'4" and 270+ I'm not holding my breath.

looks good although if the rams skip suh the lions will snatch suh up in a heartbeat

I like Odrick, and would not at all mind seeing him in a Pats uni. However, if Carlos Dunlap is there at 22 we HAVE to take him. Yes he's my current binky, thanks in part to Mayoclinic.

Wish Belichick didn't suck at drafting.

Here is the 'emoticon', which speaks louder than words: :(

I think you're going to catch crap for not drafting Dunlop there, but I like Odrick better. I don't think there's any way Mays is a first rounder any more.

Why are you down on Mays?

Aside from hitting/intimidation, I don't see what he does well. He looks to be on the slow side, stiff, with no football awareness or instincts, and without a clue in the passing game.

Some team like Jacksonville will draft him and try to make him a weakside linebacker, but I don't see him going before the 3rd round, and I could see him lasting until the 7th.

Another one of the "BB Sucks at drafting" crowd raises their ugly and uninformed head..

Taylor May could equal Ernest Shazor....

if it was up to me i would take

Carlos Dunlap at #22

Brandon Spikes at #42

Bradon Ghee at #47

Mardy Gilyard at #52

Re-Sign or Franchise Wilfork

Re-Sign TBC

Sign Carlos Dansby

the front 7 would look like this

Dunlap Wilfork Warren

Dansby Spikes Mayo TBC

if we can't get pressure with this lineup then will never be able to

Your a little off, Dansby and Spikes are both Inside linebackers, Dunlap could play DE or he could play OLB, probably the later if we draft him. I say skip on spikes and draft a DE who slips or a RB. our front seven would look more like this...

Wright, Wilfork, Warren
TBC, Dansby, Mayo Dunlap

I don't see Ryan taking Mays. Also don't see the Colts going RB over CB or O-line.
