It really was an amazing drive. Actually, I think it's the greatest drive ever by Tom Brady.
Yet, that is the nature of sports. Tom Brady having one of the clutchest drives in SB history, Wes Welker having one of the best WR performances in SB history, both pretty much forgotten. So many sports fans are so black & white when it comes to memory. If you won, every aspect of your team is given extra credit. If you lose, pretty much all the positives are forgotten.
I hate that game, so much. So many things were eliminated..
19-0 / Greatest team of all-time
SB #4 - Clinch being the greatest dynasty of all-time
TB cementing himself as the greatest/most cluch of all-time
Moss, Welker, Seau's first ring
A final ring for Brown, Bruschi, Harrison & Vrabel
God damn it, it still kills me. The most amazing season of all-time and now I can't watch a single game from that season without getting upset.
