Anthony Fasano could be an intriguing guy who doesn't get the high tender. Well rounded game, good blocker that could be effective in the passing game if used right.

A couple match up guys, Scheffler and Owen Daniels.

Colin Peek - Alabama (HT: 6'5 1/2" | WT: 250)
Projection: 6th Round

Strengths:
-Big target, has prototypical size
-Well-rounded prospect, good/willing blocker and capable receiver
-Nice mid-range and red zone target
-Played in a pro-style offense at Alabama
-Versatility, could see some time in an H-back role

Does nothing extremely well, but is solid in every aspect

Out of that list I like Tony Scheffler, Owen Daniels, and Anthony Fasano.

I want Watson gone. Watson should have been stretching the field for years but hes just an athlete and not a football player. He can only run in a straight line and he cant cut at all or get open. He also has bad hands. A change of scenary may do well for Watson and the organization.

As for the draft I really dont want to take a TE early. I have nightmares about David Thomas being picked 3rd rd. I remember throwing my remote when I saw the pick. I was pissed. I saw Thomas play in college and he was a soft receiving TE who caught short passes from Vince Young. I knew he would be nothing. We haven't done a good job drafting TE's early with Watson and Graham as first round picks and Thomas 3rd.

I would take Peek from Bama or Moaeki from Iowa 5th-6th rd.

Fasano was horrid this year, didn't he practically cost the Fins the Colts game? I do not want to see him in a Patriots uniform.

Looks like a very iffy list.

I like David Thomas, but we all know how that goes.
Fasano seems too much like Baker.
Owens is a serious injury risk.
Scheffler scares me because of the way he didn't get along with McDaniels.

Scaife is more of an H-Back type, but might be a good compliment with Baker.
Alge Crumpler is an interesting guy. Used to be a great TE, but has had 2 down years in Ten. He probably wouldn't cost much, so I'd be willing to take a flier on him.

There's no question we're drafting at least 1 TE this year, probably early.

While I only saw 2 Miami games this year his stats aren't that different this year compared to last, did he have a lot of drops or do a bad job blocking?

Owen Daniels, was haveing a amazing year untill he tore he's ACL im not sure he is a good fit cause the pats just don't throw to the TE's but he is my fav.

Any of them that can block, Billy Miller is a TE for the Saints not Patriots and he's 3rd on the depth chart now since the acquisition of Dave Thomas. Scheffler and Daniels don't make any sense to me..anyone have a logical explanation for wanting them?

Exactly what my list was going to be. There is no way (even with the injury) that Houston is letting Owen Daniels go anywhere.

Alge Crumpler sucks, and he's up to about 300 lbs now.
