Revis your so cool man!

Re: Revis goes after moss again

Revis = Immature

THe great ones (which is he is now) shouldnt have to act like this

Re: Revis goes after moss again

Revis is just slighted that Moss didn't "give him respect". You think he's going to go out of his way to argue against the stigma that Randy has attached to him?

Revis is a great CB, coming up on his prime in a very good defense. It's a shame that he feels the need to continue to talk about other players' efforts and can't just pass on the question.

That being said, next year I bet Revis will be the one looking like a dog when they match up. As good as Revis is, he can't cover a healthy Moss by himself.

Revis is going to have to back up his mouth twice against Moss and deal with 85 next season. I'd love to see Moss own this kid.

Revis is turning into a diva...and not even a fun-loving one like Deion. He is getting his ego (and perhaps other things) stroked beyond belief. Good luck to the Jets when he opts out of his deal after next year. They may have to actually rename Manhattan permanently as part of his next deal. And I'm sure Revis will be fine getting no stats when teams throw exclusively against Strickland and Lowery. Nnamdi (3 picks and 20 PDs in the last 46 games) seems to be handling a similar situation swimmingly.

Rex Ryan and Revis will do good in their 2nd career as WWE superstars. The are doing a good job hyping up the first meeting between the Jets and Pats next year.

It's obvious what's happening here. He's feeling empowered and enabled by his coach and the coach's personality and bluster. He's clearly a terrific player, but anyone who continually brings up an opponent's name publicly as much this guy does with Moss is spooked by him (meaning Moss), and I'm not sure why he should be. Insecure.

Revis has got two games against Moss and the Patriots next season. Let's hope as football fans, Randy Moss is 100% physically fit for both games.

I'm loving this, any self respecting man is only going to even harder against someone who claims he doesn't.

I hope Revis doesn't stop.

BTW, I'm sick of hearing how Revis shut down Moss twice this season. You can't give up a TD to someone then say you "shut them down".

Hopefully Moss regains his health so he can stop his alligator arm routine. The long ball he let a midget DB break up against Atlanta was the worst one.

Moss is on the back nine. When he was in his prime, no DB in the history of Pro Football could have matched up with him in single coverage.

While i agree Revis is one of if not the best DB in the league right now... he really should stop taking the bait that guys like Felgay love to dangle only to stir ****.

So true. Take any year Moss was with Minny and he would've lit Revis up.

lets see revis go up against Moss w/o a separated shoulder, then maybe the comparisons would me more apt

It's up to Moss to shut him up. I'm thinking a healthier Brady could also help out in that department as well.

As well as his own DC publicly stating that they weren't play straight man and he did have safety help :p

No DB can match up with him single coverage even today. Don't let them fool you into believing Revis really was playing on an island in man-0

I think the problem is Rex Ryan. The Jets players are starting to develop his habit of mindless trashtalking, which makes me laugh when you consider that this was a team that had to be LET into the playoffs by the Colts.

BINGO!!!! We have a WINNER! :rocker:

1998. ty law had one of the best years. i ever seen a CB have. when he faced randy moss, in the pro bowl that year. and randy beat ty law for a 60 yerd catch with out even trying. ty law went on to win the MVP in the pro bowl. because he stoped covering moss. and did not alllow. Antonio Freeman, Cris Carter, and even Jerry Rice, to catch a ball vs him.

randy moss, as a rookie beat the best CB in the NFL ty law has a lot of pride. and i think even he would say that when moss. is on he's game no one can cover him.
