No Freeney is bad for the Colts and really good for the Saints. :)

Yeah, but don't forget - if the Colts lose, no matter how many points they scored, it's because Manning choked....

If they do lose, it probably will be more because of Manning than not having Freeney. Remember, the Colts aren't playing the Bears in the superbowl this year. The Saints can put up tons of points on the board so if Manning chokes and starts throwing interceptions or alot of incomplete passes, they're done.

Have you actually had a letter about someone copying and pasting an article on a forum?? Geez... that's a little crazy.

as long as manning and wayne are playing no problem for the colts. no offene puts pressure on a defense for 60 minutes like them

Brees just got a little more relaxed, still have Mathis though. Looks like it will be a game of offence anyway, with or without Freeney.

Bad.. try devastating. Their defense revolves around Freeney and Mathis. Take Freeney out, Mathis will be doubled all game and Brees won't get touched.

We've had this forum in some form or another for about a decade - so yes, it's happened. Major publications, websites, etc. aren't impressed when their work is cut and pasted somewhere else, and rightly so. They write content to gain readers to their site who come and read the articles. If it's cut and pasted elsewhere, obviously people don't come - and with the current state of newspapers, advertising, etc. you're going to see it enforced even moreso. Wait until you start seeing publications move toward a "pay to read" platform and that content gets stolen - I guarantee you'll begin reading about sites, blogs, etc. getting nailed for doing it. We're about a year away from that (I believe the NY Times said 2011) but you can bet you're going to see everyone move in that direction.

Needless to say be aware of the fact that everyone needs to be careful when quoting content, and as I said be sure to provide the necessary link & credit.

After playing a far superior and far more physical D front in the Vikings Drew Brees is going to find facing even a healthy Mathis/Freeney combo no big deal. Colts D simply is not that great and the Saints will expose them big time next Sunday. Colts corners are mediocre at best. Look for the Saints deep threat to be open all day long.

The Colts corners may not be that great but neither are the Vikings. I think you are selling the Colts defense short somewhat. Freeny and Mathis compare favorably to any tandem of defensive ends in the league.

Wow, that's just.... wow. I've been posting on a lot of forums for several years and have never heard of that happening before. Not just for copying and pasting an article. I guess that's the way the world is becoming. Well from my point of view, if certain sites don't want people copying and pasting their articles, then I won't bother reading those sites. :)

Most of the articles aren't exactly masterpieces of journalism to begin with...

This is as close to a catastrophic injury as we can get short of losing Peyton.

Freeney is a HUGE loss. Remember the commentating in the AFC championship, the Jets chose pass plays when he was out of the game? They had all day to throw.

Well, all their plays will be without Freeney now.

I doubt it, the Vikings D was dealt with but Freeney and Mathis are a different animal with their speed. Any QB is going to respect what they bring.

I don't think I'm selling the Colts defense short at all. Tom Brady and the Pats one dimensional offense put up 34 on them and left points on the field with 2 red zone TO's, their typical red zone struggles that lead to FG's instead of TD's and the 4th qtr offensive impotence that we saw all season long. I don't think the Colts D is all that good and will be exposed next week. That D faced a Ravens team that simply doesn't have a passing game and a Jet team that's highly limited in what they can do offensively and who lost their running game when Shonn Greene got hurt halfway through that game. The Saints present matchup problems for the Colts all over the place. This is a game where Manning can throw 5 TD passes and the Colts lose the Super Bowl.

That's still 2 redzone turnovers Rhody. 2 which are credited to the defense.
