anyone seen this guy play? Have not been able to find to much info on him yet, but from what I have read, he could be a good player in the NFL. He only has two years of college experience as he was hurt his junior year. But his stats in those two seasons were impressive. 75 catches 1197 yards 15.9 avg 16 tds. He's got good size 6'6", 265lbs. And is decent blocker. I think the Pats are in desperate need for a TE. Only problem is he's got a bad back which kept him out his junior year, would he be ready for the 2010 season and how effective could he be? But, from what I have read he could have been a future rnd 1 pick if he stayed in school. Could he be a steal for a team who takes a chance on him later in the draft?

dose not sound good a guy with a bad back in a system that ask it's TE's to be the # tree T. maybe a late round pick but thats it

He should have went back to school. PTD - Potentially Tragic Decision.

The doctors and his pro day are going to be huge for determining his status.

If the Pats are looking for a TE, then Holla McGee....err.... Colin Peek from Alabama would be a good addition... He has size (6'5) and weight (260), has good hands for catching and blocking..

Jim Dray from Stanford is my guy. Also 6'5" 260#. Terrific blocking back with good hands. What he did for Stanford's OL this season was absolutely fabulous.

Hmm.. Imagine that. We're talking about Stanford and Alabama. 2 teams that have great running games with Gerhardt and Ingram respectively.

Dray was only 6'4.5" at the East/West weigh ins.. but it's semantics..

Peek was only 250# at the Senior Bowl weigh ins ... but who's quibbling? :D

I'd be a tad concerned about his knee after his injury.

I don't remember Dray at the East/West? I thought he was TX v tN?

The 260 was a typo on my part.. But Peek is looking nice in the Senior Bowl. I need to watch his blocking more.
