Interview with Amari Spievey, CB, Iowa

This guy is not lacking confidence.

he dose have that swagger. the pats have not had since ty law, im not sure he will ever be that good but he thinks he will. he should be a late 2th round pick.

If he runs in the low 4.4's or sub 4.4's then he could raise even higher than that. Could move past Warren/Ghee and maybe Wilson in my opinion.

Don't forgot Kareem Jackson from Alabama. I think before everything is done he will end up as the #2 CB prospect in this year's draft.

I like Kareem but I see him a step below Haden/Wilson/Ghee/Spievey/Warren. If I may ask Mayo, what intrigues you about Jackson's game?

He's been a 3 year starter for Alabama, he has shown the skills to play man corner in the NFL, and he is extremely physical.

Right now a bunch of guys are bunched together after Joe Haden - Kyle Wilson, Donovan Warren, Brandon Ghee, Amari Spievey, Kareem Jackson and Devin McCourty, with Perrish Cox, Patrick Robinson and Dominique Franks possibly still competiting with those guys. I assume the combine will be where one or two guys stands out in terms of their footwork, ball skills, speed, and agility. It's too early to separate the pack right now.

I'll buy that. I wish there was a Junior Bowl this year - would have loved to see Warren/Spievey/Jackson battle it out on the field instead of at the combine.
