Esch at Hubble has us taking
Spiller RB
Graham DE
Hardy DE
Hernadez TE
Spiller and Graham are home runs at 22 and 44 given no trades and who else is available. Hardy is a bit risky, but the talent is there. Hernandez is good value at 53, if we don't go OL (Maurkice Pouncey, Vlad Ducasse and Mike Johnson are all available).
Overall, possibly the best 2 round mock I've seen.
Our current one has:
Brandon Graham
Corey Wootten
Brandon Ghee
Aurrelious Benn
Perfect if we get the right FA's. A few wideouts and an ILB.
Esch seems to be doing well this year (that is, he's agreeing with us).
Also, I would note that if Spiller isn't there, it would possibly mean that Bulaga, Odrick or Iupati dropped to be available at 22.
I also agree that the choice at 53 would be between Hernandez and an OL. I think that this choice will depend on which position is filled in free agency. I would hope that we would fill one of the two.
It is this board who thinks that our DROY playing injured isn't good enough to play his position in the future and the Guyton and McKenzie will not be good enough to play the other side (perhaps after competing with a free agent).
That is the great thing about this draft, if some guys go higher than expected then some talented guys fall, and if everybody goes as predicted, we still get 4 really good red chip prospects.
Guys picked in the fifth round this year, could have been 3rd rounders last year.

I think it's an extremely small minority on this board who think that Mayo isn't good enough to play his position in the future. But that's a different issue from Mayo playing the Mike, which isn't his natural position, and to which neither Guyton nor McKenzie is particularly naturally suited either. McKenzie is perhaps the best suited of the 3 to playing SILB, but he is on the small side and hasn't proven that he can take the pounding.
That's pretty close to correct. And last year was considered a deep draft. Certainly 4th rounders, and possibly some 5th rounders. The number of draft slots is fixed, and you can't squeeze all the talent into 100 picks this year.
Is this year the largest amount of underclassmen ever? Last year was 46, this year is 53. That's an insane amount of talent in the first 2 rounds.
I'd take it too, but I can't see Spiller being there at #22 or Graham at #42. If so, that would be amazing.I'll take Esch's mock.
