King suggests LT should join the Patriots

Wait.... Does New England need to get tougher or classier? This is all getting very confusing.

No thanks. LT is done. I'd rather keep Fred.

Fred isn't as washed up as LT, not nearly so. LT is just old and slow. He is bad, bad, bad.

Don't like NE being considered an old folks' home either. Not how you win.

Heck No!

He is both washed-up and mentally weak, something we need less of after this season. He has openly said he hates BB, and aren't we trying to get rid of the the guys that don't "buy in", like AD? How is Tomlinson going to buy in when he's getting 5 carries a game and already has a prejudice against the head coach? Did I mention he's washed up?

He should go to Miami who may need a RB now that Ronnie Brown is hurt and Ricky Williams has retired to take his life-long dope nap. He can go there and join the "I am Bitter Because the Pats Kicked My Butt in the Postseason and Then They Broke a Rule so Now I can Forever Justify my Ineptitude Against the Patriots by Harping on it Loudly in the Media" club with Joey Porter.

He can "Stay Classy" somewhere else.

LT is the reason the Chargers lost to the Jets.

especially for over the hill AND injury prone RB's

Hey, if Lawrence Taylor has kept in shape, I'm all for it.

An overpriced, over the hill, prima dona RB whose not good in pass protection? Pass

Peter King says he thinks Favre will come back - Dan Patrick.com

iam tired of every year the pats being touted as a rehab facility for washed up players.

Not that I am for signing LT, but why would you be against the formula that won the Pats three Super Bowls and nearly four? Without taking washed up players like Roman Phifer, Anthony Pleasant, Bryan Cox, Mike Compton, Otis Smith, Rodney Harrison, Keith Traylor, Ted Washington, Corey Dillon, and Randy Moss; the Pats may never have even seen a Super Bowl this decade.

The great thing about washed up players is that they are low risk, high reward type of players. They don't come at a high salary since they are perceived as done and sometimes a new system or a change of scenery can allow them to rebound their career.

No Way. LT is all washed up.

No, no, no, nononononono shut the hell up Peter King no.

LOL. That's so funny visualizing Mr.Class eating the humble pie and signing the dotted line on the contract with the team that believes "if you are not cheating, you are not trying hard enough"

LT doesn't strike me as a guy you could count on in the cold and snow.

He's good on the goal line, I wouldn't be opposed to it...

Certainly better than Maroney...

Who would spend more time on the bench, Maroney or Tomlinson? That would be a close one!

Tomlinson averaged 3.3 YPC this season.

Maybe we should try to get Larry Johnson while we're at it.

Just sign him up and cut his ass during the last week of pre-season :D

Nah. Sign him and the trade him to the Raiders for a 2nd rounder in 2011. :)
