Defense wins championships, Jets are the 2001 Patriots...

Wake me when Rex Ryan and the Jets win a championship.

The Jets defence is folding like a cheap tent in the second half....sounds vaguely familiar....

Bills @ Jets
Nine play 13 yard game winning FG drive (Overtime)

Jaguars @ Jets
Twelve play 83 yard game winning FG drive (0:00 remaining)

Falcons @ Jets
Eleven play 73 yard game winning TD drive (1:38 remaining)

Jets @ Colts
Blow eleven point 17-6 lead by allowing 24 unanswered points.

Give a great QB 4 really good WRs in today's NFL, and this is what happens.

That's what I see. Peyton had his best year ever. He has more options now than ever before.

Yes, the Patriots should go for a pass rusher first, and another pass rusher as well (the Colts after all have a couple) but Collie, Garcon and Clark make a huge difference for this team.

The Patriots need to hit on one or two WRs in the draft.

Collie and Garcon are the difference.

Yup, we need a defense like the Jets.

We gave up 35 points to Indy. The Jets gave up only 30. We scored 34. So if we had had a defense like the Jets we would have won 34-30 instead of losing 35-34.

Exactly.

The Jets defense is a true model of excellence.

Colts sat on the ball with a 13 point lead.

They went conservative. Could have gotten more.

Manning had 400 yards passing.

I would say the Patriots D of the last several years has looked better.

Peyton could have put up 40 points today if he wanted.
