It's 50-5. I got great doctors that I deal with. So I'm going to re-evaluate things and see how it goes. At the end of the day, it's my decision to play with injuries going forward for my career.

But the team's most recent defeat seemed to hit Reed harder than most losses.

It's very tough because these opportunities don't come often. As a player getting older, you don't know how much you can last. So it's hard, man. It's really hard.

I hope this isn't going where I think it's going to go (people on this board saying "maybe BB can talk him into coming to New England to win a ring"). From what we've seen this season, Reed has a better chance winning a ring in Baltimore.

I didn't realize that Reed had a chronic neck injury, so I was pretty shocked to see that article on ESPN. Selfishly, I hope he plays a few more years since I enjoy watching him, but I don't think anyone would be able to blame him if he decided to hang it up.

As far as the Ravens being closer to a ring than the Pats, how the hell do you figure? Their young talent pretty much begins and ends with Rice, Flacco, Gaither, Ngata, and Oher. Mason's probably gone, the jury's still out on Flacco, and Lewis is on the way out. By no means are they in terrible shape, but the Pats have much better-looking prospects over the next 2-3 years IMO (and I'm not totally sold on the Pats, either).
