Do we really want teams in our division to know that much about us?
i thought one of bb's unwritten rules was that coaches didn't leave him to go to other teams in the division and that he was really pissed off at the Rat for that reason...no matter how bad pees may (or may not) have been, i can't imagine this is something that belichick would want...
...does anybody know if there was bad blood between them?
They probably wouldn't,A great portion of this defense could be sayonara
Could you imagine facing the Dolphins defense with the receivers having a 5 to 10 yard cushion for Brady to aim at?Do we really want teams in our division to know that much about us?
The story hasn't come out yet. But, if the story is that BB was going to fire Pees after giving him that defense and getting rid of Seymour just before the season started, I can't imagine Pees would feel bad about getting the chance to stick it to the Patriots twice a year.

I'm sure Pees is smart enough to understand the business and value aspect, unlike some bitter posters.
The Dean Pees haters here really need a clue. We play an entire year with a decent defense that had nobody to set the edge and no true mike LB. I mean we had Wilfork trying to set the edge vs Ravens. Dean Pees is not great but he is a very good coach ... he was not the problem. perhaps he had to go because he yelled at Bill for whose fault the season was.
Pees became Pats's DC in 04. As far as i'm concerned, .
You are wrong again. Pees became Pats's DC in 04. As far as i'm concerned, Pats didn't loose 'big name' defensive players until 08 and 09 season.
If Pees were really that good, we didn't loose our AFC championship and a perfect 07 season.
Yes, Pees HAD 3 years to prove and he FAILED. If PEES did well in his first 3 years, nobody complained his 08 and 09 season.
Whah?
Romeo was the DC in 2004.
Pees was not calling the O-Line signals vs the Giants in 2007.
nobody complained his 08 and 09 season :wha: :wha: :wha:
You need a mulligan NEP ????
