Seems like the Ravens and Jets are more concerned about The Patriots than they are there respective match-ups this weekend. I wonder how that is going to play out for them?

Any given year, there are a half dozen teams that have more talent than the 2001 Patriots. I don't disagree that the 2009 Jets are more talented. That 2001 had a lot of overachievers who bought into a team concept and were willing to put the team ahead of their own personal glory. It was a far better team than this year's Jets, but I don't think it was more talented.

There are a lot of very talented teams that do not live up to their and a lot of teams without talent that far outplayed their talent.

Alot of non-championship teams (including ours of '06 and '07) had more talent than the 2001 Patriots. But talent alone does not a champion make...

I still dont get the underrating. Were they as talented as the 04 team? No. But any team that after losing the first 2 games and then goes 14-3 and beats a 11-5, 13-3 and 13-3 team is one that is hot, but also very good.

Personally I don't think the 2009 Jets are that talented. They've been coached up reasonably well, but I don't think they're that great at the following spots:

jets can run the ball and chargers dont stop the run well. So its going to be closer than you think especially since they play very good pass defense. bruschi infact picked the jets to win. Chargers are everyone's favorites but they arent flawless.

Damien was FINALLY able to get back to the playoffs since 2001 and knows this may be his last chance to win another ring - All those wasted years with the Lions when he could have had 2 more rings here can make a man go crazy and with his statement today you know he is pumped just to have a chance again...still he's a douche who needs to play and shut the mouth.
