I want to wish you guys well earlier, but us Saints are probably the experts in the NFL at what you are feeling right now, and I knew you guys needed some time.

You lost, at least we finally have something in common:) !!!!!!!!!!!

WE ALWAYS LOSE ALL THE TIME !

Now seeing you guys winning trophy, after trophy, after trophy, after trophy.. what ever, is knowing your Patriots are experts at holding , if not bored with getting the Lombardi.

But now you have entered the Saints area of expertise, ..well minus making the playoffs at all ( cause we could never get that together ), oh and probably we would be 3-13 at the end of the season, but you get my point!

Don't watch the hole movie, but look at the first 2-3 mins, that was our 1st shot for a championship for the Saints and after a miracle play to get 6, our kicker missed the extra point,

That Sir and Madam is the New Orleans Saints, we love them and support the boys, but Please. The chance that the Saints, ever, would even be in the Big show, ever, no.
We have been saying this is the year for 43 years.

We did learn something along the way.. and it is much more important

What we learned is pretty simple, and ya we are a simple people in N.O.,

I had a blast when we played, wither we won or lost!

I would have rather lost and had that day,,, than won every Lombardi.

Don't fret to much New England, Your coach is almost a legend, you made the playoffs with rookies and your starters injured , and you have a QB of fine character. And next year you will have another great chance.

and next year we will be the aints.. and I’m fine with that.

Heres to next season, you know were going to make it this time :) so watch out .. The Saints are coming.

Really all the best to you guys

Please beat the Sh*t out of the Cards! Saints vs Ravens in the superbowl. Saints fans and Cards fans dont bother me so either way...:D

Best of luck to the Saints. I'll be rooting for them. I am in New Orleans frequently for work, and have a million friends down there. It's safe to say that you will be the most rooted for team. Thanks for stopping in.

I am rooting for you. I think you guys deserve it. You beat us soundly. I take my hat off to you.

Right on man. Let's go Saints!

Thanks guys just wanted to let you know if there was anyone in the SB we wanted the Patriots. Lucky we got you for a game, good people, good times.

Nice to have you back. Good luck against Arizona tomorrow, and hope you go all the way. I've been rooting for you:

This clearly wasn't our year. Up to the Saints game this team teased us with the possibility of being an elite team, but it became clear from that point on that this team had bigger issues than we have been used to seeing from a BB team late in the season. I really didn't expect us to be able to do much in the playoffs, and I think that the blowout loss to the Ravens may help make it easier to make some major changes in the offseason. You guys were 8-8 last year, but made some key moves in both the coaching staff (Greg Williams) and personnel (Sharper, Grier) to take it up a notch.

Anyway, kick some butt in the NFC. I'd particularly like to see you beat any of the 4 remaining AFC teams in the SB.

Just because a team did something in the past, that's no guarantee it will happen again. It was only this decade that the Pats finally won a home playoff game for the first time. Then last week it was the first time that the Pats ever lost a home playoff game with Brady at QB.

It's not just the Pats or Saints either. Look at your division rivals in Tampa Bay. Losingest team in football, they won the Super Bowl a few years ago, and along the way kept announcers from repeating 'have never won when the temperature was below 32'. For your sake, maybe you can get them to stop repeating 'no team that has lost to the Bucs has gone on to win the Super Bowl that year'.

All these streaks and past history are meaningless; it's how the two teams perform that day that counts.

Good luck this weekend, this game should be a good one.

Best to you, Saints fans! Thanks for the classy post. Take home the Lombardi.

There's a first time for everything, and I'm hoping this is your time.

Plus, you've got a good foundation going forward. Let the good times roll.

Hope to see you in next years SB.

Nice to see you again pherein and thanks for your post.

A few people asked me if I was going to watch the football games this weekend, and my response was, "There's football???" I couldn't even remember who was left or who played who or what time the games were on. I told them I'd probably watch, just cuz it's football, but there wasn't much to root for other than the right kid falling to us in the draft.

But I'll be rooting for the Saints. Forgot all about you guys, probably from that thrashing we received a little while ago :p Now that we're out, it'd be great to see the big easy win it. Best of luck man.

You guys are probably one of the classiest bunch of fans in the NFL. I'm thoroughly pulling for you in the playoffs. Hope Brees can bring the Lombardi to Nawlins.

As long as it's not the Cowboys (if there is a God) or the friggin' Colts, I'm a happy girl.

Best of luck to the Saints. They are one of the three teams I hope win the Super Bowl (Baltimore and Dallas being the other two).

But can I make a request? Don't wear the all black uniforms! Start a petition for them to stop using those uniforms. Black jersey, gold pants. That's the best look.

I actually like the murdered-out look myself. But the black jersey and gold pants are pretty sick as well.

I hope the Saints go all the way.

New Orleans is a great city.

Classy thread. I will be cheering for the Saints from here out.

Fully agree with the above.

Nice to have you back on here Pherein and as I said the last time you were here, I'm rooting for you guys to go all the way now. Patriots have a lot of work to do to get back to elite status. I have no doubt the Saints will be up there for a couple of years anyways.

Go Saints!!! The Cards don't have a defense to speak of...

Saints 38
Cards 12

:singing:

I agree. NO is a great fan base, with a team that plays with heart, and a damned fine QB, both on and off the field.

I'll also be rooting for you guys, so go get 'em!
