So long and thanks for the help, Junior. Sorry you didn't get a ring here.

I have to agree...WISHED he could have gotten a ring....BUT he added a lot and gave all he could..We will miss you!! Great luck surfing and being you....a second season of "Sports Jobs"?? Broadcasting?? It was a real pleasure with him here!!!!

Junior was a good player for us. Played his heart out on the field, let it all hang out there. I don't know if he's retired for good, but really does it matter? He didn't play for us long but he sure played with guts. Enjoy your retirement, Seau. Whether it's for just 9 months or if this is really the last one.

Again,sigh.....

Hope he doesn't do a Brett Favre now.

Despite the respect he deserves his whole career,Junior was indeed a waste of a roster spot though

Spoken like someone who has selective memory about the 2007 season. That is one of the reasons it's so sad that fans boo'd this team mercilessly and left early Sunday. There were guys on that field who didn't ever deserve that, and some you may never see play again or have a chance to thank for all their effort.

first ballot hof'er, going in as a charger/dolphin/pat

i love how the nfl enshrines it's players

wonder who he will get to induct him, maybe bobby ross....dennis hopper? lol

Sad to see this, he was the Best LB we had on the filed in that Ravens game which is even sadder.

SMY said on NESN Sportsdesk this a.m., that he was brought in for his veteran presence, but that some of the younger players just didn't listen to him. I wonder which ones those were, the same ones who laughed after losses? Clearly they are one of the major problems on this team.

I am very curious to know who those younger players are. Seeing that Junior is on the wrong side of 40, perhaps it was the entire defense.:p

In all seriousness, thinking that he was a waste of a roster spot does not make sense. The guy had value and played tough- which based on last Sunday's game, very few people did.

See you next Novemberm bud.

Whatever happens, I can say, honestly say, that that probably was my last game.
lol. the statement right before the retirement pledge.

And no, we had plenty of human waste clogging up that game against Baltimore, but Junior showed some fire and made a fantastic play blowing up a screen pass.

Good luck Junior.

The next time the Patriots make the Super Bowl, they should hire him as a "defensive assistant" or something.

This I can fully agree with.

Absolutely. Defensive assistant, team morale co-ordinator, surfing coach, any of those would work :D

I wonder if he would speak in the third person during the trophy presentation.

Well said. I wish I was at the game to yell my appreciation to Junior's 4 years of dedicated Pats service.

Thanks for all that Junior. Wish we had send you offf with a better good bye experience.
