#Patriots signed DE/OLB Bruce Davis. Was former #Steelers 3rd rounder in 2008.

Not sure why he wasn't re-signed with the other six PS players yesterday. But that leaves the Pats with Nick Moore and Robert Ortiz un-signed from their season-ending practice squad.

I will be surprised if the Patriots re-sign Moore and Ortiz.

They were signed when the the Patriots did not have sufficient

wide receivers to practice properly.

Yes. They expire, IIRC, a week after you are eliminated. Then any team can sign them, including playoff teams.

All teams do as soon as their season ends.

Yes...always when the team is finished for the year..in fact in OTHER years past..(before 07...)..they signed players NOT ON the practice squad in Jan..so there were others brought in...I do not believe that has happened much in the last few years..

Which was probably why he took an extra day. He was probably in contact with one of those teams.

He might actually have a future. Hope the other guys do too but...
