He's bringing Monte Kiffin and Orgeron with him. With Orgeron on board, USC should again field some pretty impressive talent. Their defense should be top flight as well. As someone that doesn't like Tennessee or Kiffin, though, I hope he screws up.

Muschamp makes sense, Mack Brown isn't going anywhere; there's no point in being the HC in waiting in a situation like that.

That's awesome. Tennessee fans must be rioting right now. I used to like Kiffin with the Faiders. When he came to Tennessee and started bad mouthing Meyer, I realized how much of a spoiled brat he is. I just wish Florida could have whooped them this season (credit to his dad and Tennessee's defense for preventing that).

He also lured Norm Chow away from UCLA. So basically he can sit back and watch. He's got the one of the best offensive college coaches, one of the better defensive coaches ever and one of the best college recruiters. Easy job for him.

It does make sense for him to leave though because he was going to lose Eric Berry, Hardesty, and Jonathan Crompton. He had a so-so season but he won't win the recruiting battles against Alabama and Florida. Hell, maybe not even LSU. USC is not affected by what's going on as they still do pretty well recruiting.

Tyler Bray has tons of potential, Matt Sims, and Nick Stephens are decent. Not to mention Bryce Brown is ready to run all over people. He had the number six recruiting class, but now of course.. who knows. In the players meeting Ed Orgeron was on the phone talking to recruits telling them to switch to USC. He has stabbed UT fans in the back in the middle of no where, petrino/saban style. I really hope Mike Hamilton[AD] hires someone with a big name quick or fans will be calling for his head.

I find it awfully difficult to warm to Lane Kiffin with his presentation style during interviews or public announcements. He comes across as a bit of a smug know it all in my opinion.
