After the game, Moss was in the locker room joking with Faulk about "stacking bread", ie counting his money.

I don't think he really cares that much about a loss. I mean he likes his records and would rather win, but he gets paid about the same either way.

And it's a lot of "bread". 10M signing bonus, 5M per year thereabouts.

It's ironic that this board is full of posters railing against other posters (often me), arguing about whether it's "rebuilding" or "transitioning", coming up with any and all plans to improve the team, and this guy is literally laughing all the way to the bank.

Reminds me of an article Pat Buchanan wrote about Edith Myers "Republicans....you've been had!".

What do you think? Have we been had? By ourselves?

What do I think? I think hilarity shall ensue forthwith.

He can put the "earth on his shoulders", I guess you make a lot of bread if you can do that.

I think if you were a fly on the wall in any NFL locker room you'd hear all sorts of commentary in the same vein.

I think a better title for what Moss said was, "Troll Stirs the Pot!"

Moreover, how are we possibly supposed to evaluate this comment without any context?

He said stackin bread? Lets get this hoodlum off our team, PRONTO!

This thread is silly. It may be in poor taste to brag about how much money you make, but to make assumptions is irresponsible IMO.

I have it from a good source that randy is a huge fan of the club sandwich..

When I saw the title I thought he was retiring to go work in the mini-mart

He was stacking bread because he wanted a triple decker sandwich with mayo (no not Jerod).

Where was the source of this comment by Moss? Is there a link?

As fans I'm sure the first thing we would want all the players to do is start watching film of every bad play they made during the season. In reality, these guys earned their pay check for 6 months and now is the only time they can actually enjoy it

I don't doubt the similarity, although of course Pat Buchanan is much more eloquent than you (or I) are.

We traded down out to next year. We send seymour for 2011 pick. so he knows by the time the rebuild is complete in 2012 and 2013 he will be retired.

Or perhaps still playing for half of what he makes now.. if he still has any desire.

Andy Gresh on 98.5 yesterday. I mentioned this in the Moss thread.

uh...Andy "Blabba the Gutt" Gresh?...not being facetious but if you ranked every single print and electronic media person in the N.E. area for accuracy and/or truthfulness, Gresh would come in DEAD LAST. Anybody whoever heard him invent windmills on the SCORE will attest to this.
