Tom Brady the greatest QB this franchise has ever seen, has been under some fire the last month... Was that his finest hour on sunday??? Heck No, but that wasnt the New England Patriots finest hour either... The last few years, he was hurt in the 2007 AFC Title game, that effected his performence in that game and the super bowl... 2008 was washed away ,by one hit.. 2009 he fought his way to lead a team to a afc east title, while fighting off numerous ailments, not to mention personal given to him and his best reciever sitting in the owners box... I hope we as fans know what we have in Tom Brady, he will be 33 on opening day next year..I hope Belichick gets some help for him, and himself becaus the more help these 2 have , the better 2010 will be.. I also hope , and some what worried , that maybee the pats will not decide to go in a different direction .. He is in the last year of his contract, and say what you want about Hoyer, I dont want to see him or anyone else drive this franchise for another 5 years.. The day will come , just not ready for it yet... So here is to Tom Brady, and hope we still have him around for a few more years, because the last 10 were very magical...

Love you, Tom. I hope you stay, but if you decide to get the hell away from this baseball loving sh!t slinging media in Boston, I really can't blame you.

The best way to protect him is to facilitate him being able to get rid of the ball fast enough to beat the blitz or rush, or to have a running game that must be respected. We never had that all year long. We only either had a senior citizen committee in the backfield or a question mark.

Statistically, Tom has had the second best year of his career. His marks fall short of his record setting performance of 2007 but if you take a look at his stats, you will see a typical Tom Brady year. 28 TD passes, he has done that three times in his career, so that is very typical of TB. 13 INTs, he usually throws between 12-14 every year so that is normal. 65% completion is the second best of his career. 4398 yards passing is the second best of his career. 16 sacks is the lowest of his career. Passer rating of 96 is the second best of his career. He fumbled 4 times and only lost two. Again the best of his career. What I can't believe is the critics saying he lost his fire and his desire. What a crock of shee-it. I've seen every game and I saw a guy who tried to get teammates fired up, who would get on someone who was lagging, someone who wouldn't take any crap from opposing players, and someone who hated losing every game that they lost. Tom just tried to do too much this year on his own. The Patriots need to have better run support and protect him better. Put Vollmer at LT next year and draft a stud RB.

I think Tom Brady is great and think he will be just fine going forward
if the PATs fix the team's pass protection when playing very good defenses.

Thanks Tom for the ints against the Ravens on Saturday.

BOOOO! (Whoops I am not allowed to say that).

This is supposed to be an appreciation thread.

Thanks Tom for fighting so hard to come back this year and take us to the playoffs yet again. Thanks too for all your good play since 2001 which has given us lots of great memorable Patriots moments. Rest up and heal up over the offseason and please come back in the fall better than ever!

Any Patriot fan wanting to get rid of Tom Brady needs to get their damn head examined. They should also be forced to watch game tape of Marc Wilson and Hugh Millon. Good Luck to anyone thinking Tebow is the answer.

Agreed. Give the guy a break - he had a bad game along with everyone else connected to the organization, after a year when he came back from a major injury and incurred a few more (allegedly) along the way. Tom Brady should be kept a highly paid Patriot for as long as he wants to play.

no doubt tom brady is in top 3 qb's of all time. people can debate the way those 3 get ranked but he's there. 4 super bowl appearances. 3 victories. you can't win them all as much as that stinks to hear sometimes. you're not going to go to the playoffs every year.

comeback player of the year this year. mvp next? i'm prematuraly saying yes.

BUUMMMPPPPP!

The man, plain and simple...holy crap are we lucky or what?

Last night was vintage old school Tom Brady. I don't like to admit it but Mr. Clutch hasn't been so clutch the past few years, but last night Brady came through BIG. It might have been a confidence issue or something but it's good news going forward.
