You KNEW it was coming. Here it is. In honor of the Suggs threads from 09, The Tim Tebow thread! Let's keep the insanity right here.

I will give it one star to start things off on the wrong foot. Mods, I graciously accept your thanks for my foresight in advance.

Only if he is available with our second or third pick in the second round. And only if we draft him as a TE. I want the first two picks to be a passrushing OLB, and a stud RB. BB is high onthis kid, but I think some team will draft him and try to make him into an NFL QB, which would be the worst thing for Tebow's career.

If we can wrangle a third rounder from someone, and IF Jacksonville has not drafted him yet (Weaver wants him bad... thinks he will improve ticket sales since he's from Jacksonville, is a fan favorite, and since Jacksonville is a hotbed for Gator fans), then yes I would like to see him drafted as an H-Back/Wildcat QB. He's a good leader and a great athlete. I would NOT take him any higher than the third round, though.

I don't know about this... I would think he'd have to drop pretty damn far for Belichick to even consider it.

Your header of "do not start another" makes me want to make another Tebow thread now...

People do not start Tim Tebow threads; they start themselves whenever they damn well please, and they cannot be modded or locked.

Contrary to yesterday's statements, I don't want this toolshed anywhere near my team.

Personally I'd rather see him crying on some other team's sidelines.

Tim Tebow's tears cure cancer.

As long as it's the third round, I'd be happy to see Tebow as a Pat.

You know Belichick loves him and would find a role for him.

Can you imagine a version of the triple option with Moss and Welker split wide and with Brady, Edelman and Tebow in the back-field? :D

Sounds like the Nightmare on Elm Street.

Florida players + The Pats= EPIC FAIL

I don't want him with a 3rd rounder even.

There are way too many good WRs available in the draft.

Mardy Gilyard will be there in the 3rd round.

Why would I take an H-Back over Mardy Gilyard?

No way.

Exactly.

You can find some scrub in the 7th round who can do whatever Tebow is capable of in the NFL.

I thought Urban vouched for Chad Jackson?

Maybe I'm confused.

He probably vouched for him, but Jackson was brought in under that idiot Zook.

Its so official that its not in the official draft forum :D

While I'd love to have Tebow on the team I don't see him falling far enough to where it would make sense to take him as opposed to someone else.

I want Bryan Buluga, Michael Johnson, Toby Gerhart, and a bunch of other guys before I consider taking Tebow, and I think he'll be long gone by then.

Here's an interesting question: setting aside whether or not the Pats should or will draft Tebow, would Tebow be better off in NE or somewhere else?

We have a potential GOAT at QB and we want to run the wildcat?

Aint ever gonna happen

There are MANY needs on this team and a wildcat QB is not one of them
