What is this "demise" ****?

Didn't you hear? THe dynasty is over. Eisen, Sanders and Irvin said so on NFL Network.

yeah well...did anyone expect this to go on forever. ? even the steelers were done in the 80s. these mediots are talking as if there are bunch of other teams with dynasties this last few yrs.

So I just want to make sure im clear on whats happening.

BB has killed the dynasty? None of the young promising players that he picked this year exist? BB is a failure because he let old players who couldnt run anymore leave? Making the playoffs is bad?

Im really confused by all these stories im reading

i sometimes wish these guys came into a forum and talked with actual people instead of calling out fans as idiots for believing in the coach and supporting the team. Has CHB ever written anything good about anyone ? Even one thing he wrote after a pats victory he berated moss's behaviour

They all have to get the talent knock in once in a while to remind us that it isn't all about coaching, which Belichick has tried to tell them as they lifted him onto the pedestal from which they now intend to knock him...

And weren't these same geniuses all imploring him to get younger and faster for the last couple of seasons, as I think he pointed out to some of them he had a few weeks back...

I heard someone say today that one of the reason Bill basically decided a long time ago to just ignore the media is because they can't help you when your winning and they won't when your losing. I other words what they have to say has no real bearing on anything.

this is the basic issue with the media. sadly they are way to powerful because no one challenges them.

The Dynasty was in the 2000s, and more accurately, the early half of the 2000s. Whatever happens from here on out is different from then.

Painful as it is to admit, the Patriots have not won a single playoff game since the loss to the Giants in the Super Bowl and most of the defense has been turned over.

Clearly the dynasty is over...BUT that does not mean the Patriots will return to mediocrity or poor performance.

However, I do not think we will see a run like we did in 2000 again.

CHB and Mazz belong to "we hate everyone" support group.
