Seymour: "There's 31 teams I'd consider going to"

LMAO - dude, they traded a #1 for you; you're being Franchised.

I honestly fear future FA maybe being weary of coming here after hearing stories like this.

Seymour's been #1 ever since his father died. He is the original New Eng. player to refer to himself as a "Professional" rather than a "Patriot."

That's a shame. I know the probability of him coming back is in the negatives, but I would love to see him back personally.

Seymour will get a fiarly high offer to play DT for a 4-3 line ... that's it.

He'll be lucky to get a $6 million a year ... maybe ... unless he can squeeze $8 million out of Uncle Al.

LOL, that is awful.

I hated that trade when it happened and still do. But what do I know.

Seemed pretty straight forward to me.....he wishes them no ill will and regrets it didn't end more respectfully to him....wow....if that is the worst an ex player can say about the Pats.....I don't think we have to worry about driving away free agents...

The Ravens ran right at his (former) side over and over.

Yeah, I say the Pats were very disloyal to a guy who's been so loyal to them over the years. Seymour was the one of the best lead by example guys on this team. I mean, it's not like he ever basically told his teammates, fans, and the organization to go F themselves by holding out or anything, I mean if he had done that he'd be a big frakin douche bag, but he didn't so it's all good.

In other words, see ya ****.

When asked if he would accept a call from the Pats if they approached him about coming back, he said, "That isn't something I'm looking to do at all."

I wouldn't worry about it, Big Sey. That call won't be coming.

Loved you for years. Thanks for all your play, and thanks for getting us a first round pick to replace you, but your time here is done. Hope to see you in the Patriots Hall of Fame.

I don't get why he's bitter. He got paid well here, and most of us respect him and love his game. However, buisness is buisness. Him holding out was buisness. Us trading him (whether right or wrong) was buisness. If he was a true buisness man like he claims he would get this.

Hope you get the money you want Sey, but please get over the bitternes. Thanks for the rings!

It was the same story after Milloy, Law, etc. We've heard that one before.

I didn't like it when it happened but now I'm good with it because I'm confident he wouldn't have been the difference.

He was gone after this year anyway.

Getting traded in May is business. Getting traded on September 6 when you're one of the very best in the business is bush league.

Why is it bush league? That's when the offer came. I'm sure the Patriots would have done the deal in May if it were offered.

Wait. He's presently AT one team which can Franchise him. So there are 31 other teams. Period. What's up with that?

#30*

sd doesn't sign big name free agents , thank christ
