He isn't the fastest back or the most physically talented but dude just may have the biggest heart in the league. He almost single handedly kept the Patriots in the game with his never say die attitude and gritty play. One of the guys that makes the Patriots, and the NFL, what they are. One of my favorite players of all time.

Re: A salute to Kevin Faulk..

Concur! Another great from the dynasty years.

Re: A salute to Kevin Faulk..

Agreed!
I really liked watching when the cameras caught Faulk yelling at and cajoling the entire offense!

Re: A salute to Kevin Faulk..

I love this guy! What a player.

Re: A salute to Kevin Faulk..

as cprice tweeted

K. Faulk on his contract status: "I’ve been here 11 years. It’s like home. Why would I want to leave?"

More Faulk: "My kids love it here, my wife loves it here. Why would I want to leave?

Re: A salute to Kevin Faulk..

We can't replace him ... can he go for 1 more year?

Re: A salute to Kevin Faulk..

Extremely impressed with his leadership today. Also impressed when he suffered what looked like a separated shoulder and ran back into the huddle with his arm just dangling at his side. Tough as nails. Kevin Faulk is one of my all-time favorite Patriots.

like a black rudy, give or take some scrapiness.

amen- I didn't think I could like Faulk any more than I do, but he and Edelman singlehandedly reminded me why I invest myself in these teams every year. Gotta respect the guys that show up even when nobody else does.

Re: A salute to Kevin Faulk..

my favorite patriot by far. tough as nails, so reliable, clutch, great leader, team player. i loved the shot of him screamin at the team trying to fire everyone up on the sidelines.

i really hope hes brought back we need him

I'm wondering the same thing. He has a lot of miles on him. Can't praise him enough for all of his contributions to the team.

He is my favorite all-time Patriot. I previously had him, Brady, Bruschi, and McGinest all kinda stuck up there in no particular order, but the heart that he showed today, in what was obviously a lost cause, put him ahead of them all in my book.

Re: A salute to Kevin Faulk..

Absolutely. Every time the Pats have laid an egg this year, he's always shown up to play. Here's hoping for at least another year or two.

I think he hit his funny bone and his arm went dead for a while. A few players showed real heart. Just not enough including Brady who I think has seen his best days behind him.

Re: A salute to Kevin Faulk..

I was just about to start a "Kevin Faulk Appreciation Thread", so you k now I agree with you. He's the consumate professional. All the guy wants to do is win. He's amazing.

He's been around the block, but he doesn't actually have as many miles as you'd think. LaDainian Tomlinson had about as many carries in 2004 and 2005 as Faulk's had in his entire career.

Re: A salute to Kevin Faulk..

If there were more Kevin Faulk's on this team, they would win the Super Bowl every year. My all time favorite Patriot!

Agreed. And it's all about team with him. You know he'd give his right arm for the team, heck, it looked that way when he was trying to stay in the game with his arm just hanging there!

I was yelling for him to get off the field when I saw that!

same, I was pissed during this point but I said calmly "Faulk, get off the damn field if your shoulder is out"
