#1 Need For 2010

When Pees was brought in, he had experience.

Do we need a separate QB coach to work with Hoyer, Rowe and Stanback?

I think that if we do not pick up a veteran for the #3 spot, then we do the kids a disservice by NOT having a dedicated QB coach.

How much better an OC could O'brien be if he did not have to run QB meetings and film review and had that extra time to devote to the next week's game plan.

Yoiu DO KNOW who Brady comes and discussing plays with when he leaves the field: Belichick or Moss. A quarterback coach should be the one to talk to.

I would have to say DE or DT......I say or because WIlfork played alot of DE today as the Ravens were running off tackle alot.....It didn't matter who we had at OLB or ILB but when our DE's are getting pushed back into the LB's they can't see the RB and make plays.....We need 2 other guys to pair with wilfork that can maintain the LOS and not get pushed back 4 or 5 yards....I saw multiple times that Mayo was trying to flow down the LOS and he is 5 yards off the ball and he would still get caught up in the traffic and couldn't get to the ball carrier....THAT IS PISS POOR.....We need either a big DT and play wilfork at the DE spot or we need some DE's but I couldn't believe that our D-line (supposedly healthy) got dominated like that today.....

Our biggest needs are RG, DE, OLB, and WR in my estimate.

That list may have made some sense to me up to today. I might be more inclined to go with a new center over a RG right now. It's a close call but Koppen is not what he was before. We were weak up the middle all year long.

There isn't a top notch center in the draft ... unless there's one who is a guard right now and doesn't know he's a center just yet. We at least need to grab Matt Tennant out of BC in the 3rd or 4th round.

Also a blocking TE ... losing Dan Graham was our hugest loss IMO ... he was such a great blocker for Brady.

Let's understand what you have said.
Connolly is likely our RG for 2010 if we don't draft one.
You would rather have a draftee center and Connolly
rahter than a draftee RG and Koppen

I very strongly disagree with your assessment.

No ... I'm seeing Kaczur at RG.

Connolly is a backup IMO.

I see C as a huge need for the line.

If I'm wrong on Kaczur then:

Iaupati in 1/2 or Mitch Petrus in round 3 ... personally I like Petrus and fill other needs 1st.

at least one of the centers ... Walton / Olsen in round 4.

We need 2 picks before round 5 for the OL .... IMO ... developed for 2011 at least.
