that is the qb we lost to... How can we not be ticked about this... Our team the Pats did not show up today... I could have handled a blow out to a better chargers team, but not to the Ravens... sorry.. I know Wes Welker being gone hurts... but this is the worst loss where we did not show any effort... We quit today.. We should be owed a apolgy from Belichick from not getting his team ready... , Although he cant help players like Adalius Thomas , and his offense line..Quit... This team quit today, and I never thought I would say that about a Belichick team... Which is why this will be a long offseason....

When you hand a team 14 points in the first 2 minutes, off of an 83 yard TD run and a strip-sack, they don't really have to pass.

I dunno if that stat line says that they *couldn't* pass so much as it says that they just didn't have to. When they had to convert 3rd downs in passing situations in the second half, they managed to just fine.

I don't think they quit, just got their ass kicked.

"We didn’t come to play. We never had a chance, from the first play to the last play. We didn’t even play like it was a playoff game. More like a preseason game. We got beat up today. For them to come in here and do what they did, they could basically have been playing out there with a JV football team and they probably would have given a better effort than we did."

should have traded brady

I know you're kidding, so don't go there before someone else takes you seriously.

Otherwise Sean I think you're going a bit overboard and it's highly unlikely you're going to get an apology from Belichick. I think Vince summed it up best, they didn't match the Ravens intensity and that's why they lost.

They didn't quit but they didn't start until they were down 24-0. You don't give up an 83 yard run up the middle to start the game if you came to play.

Agreed, and that's what pisses me off. How do you come out flat for a *playoff* game? Watching your team lose in the playoffs is a fact of life. It'll happen. Watching your team get blown out because they didn't even show up for a playoff game? That's humiliating.

Honestly, they are a better team than us. We really shouldn't have beat them the first time. We need better athletes. This is how to game plan against our offense. "bring more guys than they can block and jump the short stuff because thats what Brady will look for when we pressure him." Honestly how many times did you see Ravens defenders closing in on the receiver before he even got the ball?

I don't know but I certainly know that theres no excuse for it. All season long this team has been bipolar. Good Starts bad finishes somebody needs to lose their job.

I guess that is what ticks me off... No intensity... why??? its a playoff game at home, your best offensive player who poured out his emotion last week.., on the sideline , this team could not do the same...??? This is what ticks me off...

sideline or kraft's luxury box

The problem is our style of play. This has been a problem since 2007 come playoff time. Look at this weekend, you have to RUN THE FOOTBALL! Even in 2007 when we almost went undefeated, we looked like crap during that postseason. The Chargers gave our offense fits, the Giants just finished the job.

Look at what we did with inferior talent in 2006. We still had a good run game and had below average WRs (Caldwell and Gaffney our 1 and 2) We still were right there in the end to make it to the super bowl. The Blueprint to successful playoff football is the RUN GAME and DEFENSE. The Jets have passed us up in both of these areas.

Look at how we won those 3 superbowls. It was good solid power football and solid bend but dont break defense. We need to look at the ravens blueprint, power football and let Brady pick his spots, too much spread offense college crap going on with this team. Draft GOOD Offensive Lineman and Draft a FULLBACK! Seriously get a damn fullback to help with the run game.
