What number draft pick will we get?

We have FOUR picks in the first two rounds. If we draft three of them and trade one of this years 2nds for a next years 1st I will be quite pleased.

Three 1st rounders under an assumed rookie contract system would be insane.

True, but several times he has traded down and the guy that was taken has turned out to be a good player...remember we all were screaming for him to take Malaluga (sp)? How did he turn out?
I wanted Maualuga but trading down wasn't the issue there, we used a pick before he was taken. Our trade downs have worked well in general, we just haven't drafted well enough when we've used the picks.

Disagree - the time for trading back is over. Brady is on the back 9 and 2011 will most likely be a lockout year. Gotta go for win now.

Why can't rookies be the answer? Rookies are the answer for every consistently good team in the NFL. If you can't get rookie production, you end up like the Pats this year... and we had Edelman and Vollmer producing.

Spot on, the teams that do well in this league are the teams who consistently draft well. The Ravens are a case in point

Need production out of rookie contracts, not just rookies. We are missing second and third year players budding into stars. Rice goes for over 130 yards, Maroney gets 2. Wilhite? Wheatley? Mayo was mediocre this year, Guyton and the other LBs are role players. No playmakers at all.
