Meaning the Pats playing so poorly ,at home, and in the playoffs....I thought Baltimore matched up well with them and would be tough...but wow! Hope they have some pride in this squad, now would be a good time to show it.

Re: Didnt think I would see this...

I really think the lack of veteran leadership hurts them.
I think they just showed up and expected to win based on history.
When things did not go their way...they buckled and this is where Rodney or Teddy would have been key.

The end of the dynasty is officially here unfortunately

WE NEED TO RELOAD the next 2 years and quit trading picks back imo!

Re: Didnt think I would see this...

Yeah, it would have been nice if they'd shown up. F*ck them, there will be a blood letting this offseason I think.

Re: Didnt think I would see this...

We all know we need playmakers and pass rushers on defense but we need to get at least 2 new OL.

Most of us were worried about our defense BUT the OL play has gotten ugly.
Bama may have a better OL than us right now!

I'm sort of glad we're being taken to the woodshed. Maybe now people will stop looking at things through rose colored glasses and realize that we need more than a few tweaks to be an elite team.

- Other than Vollmer and Mankins, the OL is mediocre.
- The running game is mediocre.
- The offensive play calling is atrocious and horribly predictable. We desperately need a new OC.
- The lack of defensive pressure is ridiculous.
- There's a huge lack of defensive leadership.

Those are the biggest things. That's enough.

Re: Didnt think I would see this...

They ARE in the process of rebuilding, they're only in the playoffs this year because we have BB and Brady.

And I dont see them giving up, some posters here have but this team is still fighting.

We also need a real #2 WR. Even before Welker got hurt with Moss getting older I didn't want to count on Tate. Now it's even more of a need. Moss, Real #2 and Edelman will be OK.

Right - unfortunately is started when they were down 24-0.

Re: Didnt think I would see this...

98.5 is going to be unlistenable for weeks...Felger's already peeing his pants with excitement...

Re: Didnt think I would see this...

How about a REAL offensive and DEFENSIVE coordinator instead of scrubs

Re: Didnt think I would see this...

We're simply not aggressive enough on either side of the ball.

No muscle up front. No aggressive playcalling.

Just lots of dancing and bobbing and weaving flittering around.

We need to greatly increase strength and speed.

Has BB ever let a coach go before in all his years???

This team has spiraled out of BB's control. Crash and burn ugly. I am tired of BBs "We were outcoached and outplayed" speech.

Re: Didnt think I would see this...

He has, he fired (or replaced) the secondary coach before last year; it's not typical for him though this season ending like this may push him over the edge.

Amen to that.

This team, as presently constructed, is WOEFULLY devoid of player makers who rise to the occasion to will the team to wins at critical times in games. Not even out once best playmaker, Brady, can do it anymore it seems.

And what happened to all of our claims that our coaches will win out against any opposing staff we face out on the field? I can't remember the last time I actually believed our coaches won us a football game.

It is a soft wimpy team. Cannot run, cannot stop the run. Worst LBs in memory.

No muscle up front.

THAT'S IT. Except for Vollmer we have nobody else on the OL that has this.
No need to talk about the defense ,is there?

This is probably the worst I've ever seen the offense aside from that Bronco game in early '06. They have shown no life whatsoever, completely inept. The execution is poor but you look at the personnel we have and there is just no excuse for this. The staff had 2 weeks to prepare for the Ravens and they failed.
