He said 10-12 months, not 12 months. It's iffy based on Edwards and Branch anyway, but a good rehab and PUP stint and being ready after that still is what I expect.
Really Charlie??
Your going to tell the NFL fans what the Patriots are going to do next year regarding Welker and Edelman?
Did you not hear what Belichick had to say about you this week?
Good for you Charlie....Keep talking.
I think October is a realistic timetable.
The players must be placed on this roster at or before the league-wide 65-man summer roster cutdown to be eligible for this designation, and they must stay on this list for at least the first six weeks of the regular season. After this time teams have 3 weeks to evaluate such players after which each such player must be placed on the 53-man roster, season-ending Injured Reserve (IR) or waivers.
FYI being activated off the PUP takes place around October..Week 6 Oct 18 TEN 0 @ NE 59
Week 7 Oct 25 NE 35 @ TB 7
Week 8 Bye
Week 9 Nov 08 MIA 17 @ NE 27
Why are you bagging on Casserly? Are you expecting Welker to be 100% by February or something?

Because all initial reports suggest that Welker will be at camp next August...Maybe not game ready, but not missing 2/3 of the season as Casserly would suggest...
