Roughly best-case scenario. Good to see Kaczur, Light and Vollmer all on duty.

Wow are we going to be thin at WR...

Re: Pats Inactives: Brace, BJGE, LeVoir, Connolly, Stanback, Wheatley, Williams, Ohrn

I was hoping Wilhite would be inactive

Not really... Aiken, Moss, Edelman, Faulk, Watson, Baker, Morris can all run routes. Slater may even be a bit of shock player as he had a nice one last week negated by a penalty. We're not lacking in guys who can catch footballs.

Yeah, because Wheatley is awesome.......

At least Wilhite has made some plays at times.

A decent 4th CB on any team.

Guy on TV last night on the NFL coverage in the UK said that he could see Slater stepping up if needed. Mentioned him ahead of Aiken and Stanback.

Could use some trickery with Slater's speed to slow down the pass-rush.

Can't hurt to give him 3/4 snaps in the game. Especially since he has very good Blocking skills.

Best case scenario, especially the OL and DL.

He did take a linebacker out of the game, a while back.

So were the guys on WEEI. A little surprised LeVoir is inactive...whose gonna be the xtra TE or FB on our smashmouth offense...or the 4th WR...

Fauria did say Bill trusts his veterans even if youngsters appear more talented because he knows what they will do and coaches have to have that comfort level and believe they at least know what to expect.

Could be a bonus in the sense that Slater hasn't played a lot with the offence, thus not a lot of film for the Ravens to look at.

Any sign of the Ravens inactives anywhere?

No-one has tweeted them yet?

Re: Pats Inactives: Brace, BJGE, LeVoir, Connolly, Stanback, Wheatley, Williams, Ohrn

They've got three good tackles and Ryan Wendell for short yardage blocking. Morris as lead back. Aiken and Slater round out the receivers, but I think we will see Watson and Faulk catch more passes today.

Re: Pats Inactives: Brace, BJGE, LeVoir, Connolly, Stanback, Wheatley, Williams, Ohrn

I'd like to see Wright get the nod over Green at DE. I think he's earned the starting role. He brings it on every play and consistently gets to the QB.

is slater the guy that hasn't caught a pass since high school? I also believe the clowns on UK (which I watched last week) put Brady as the 4th best QB in the league - I have a feeling a lot of average americans watch more NFL than those announcers.

Brady is about the 4th best QB in the league. That's more than reasonable.

Do the Pats usually have 8 OLs active for a game?

Manning, Rivers, Brees.

Debatable vs Brees, but THIS YEAR, he's been about 4th.

That said, I wouldn't take any of the 3 ahead of him.

No, they usually have 7. That's what they have today.
