I think Cinci wins this game. Startin' to get a feeling. I though it was Jets earlier this week, but I'm changing my tune b/c of QB play, in Cinci and Cinci's D is above average.

Rex Ryan is the gift that keeps on giving!!!! He's the best entertainment money can buy. It's so much more fun watching the Patriots paste a loudmouth idiot than some nice mealy mouth like Norv Turner.

I like him firing the team up and using the 'excuses' to fire the team up, hey, it's something BB would do and indeed has done in the past to great success. I like the players having confidence and believing.

But then you get to this quote:

I think he's great. Adding to the confidence of his team.

Plus cinci players have to start thinking "maybe they really ARE better than us, I mean we kind of weren't playing hard, but they stomped us."

It's psychology. It's theatre. I like it.

I like their swarming defense too...much better than the pats "we'll give you 10 yard passes, but that's it". Pats couldn't blitz a high school team effectively.

Rex is the classic bully. Hes an empty blowhard. They stumbled and fell backwards into the playoffs and claim they are now magically the favorites. His bravado sounds just like whistling by the graveyard to me.

Yup,

I remember how well that sort of thing went over with the Patriots when the Steelers were having fans by tickets, make reservations, and doing the whole parade schedule and theme stuff.

I prefer the Patriot's more humble attitude, since, as the adage says "Pride Goeth Before A Fall."

Regardless of the outcome, I think it's going to be a fun game to watch. I know I'm fixing things here so i can settle in early and enjoy the game.

Regardless of my feelings about the JETS, I hope that, win or lose, both teams come through without any further injuries.
