Is that for the second straight day both Warren and Wilfork had full participation in practice:

Patriots Injury Report for Thursday

They will be a huge part of containing Ray Rice, along with Mayo who is getting better and wasn't available for the first Ravens game.

Still worried about rice/MaGahee bouncing runs to the outside. AD and TBC need to be stout.

Agreed. I bet we leave a safety down in the box most of the game, or maybe have Mayo spy the RB.

I noticed in the Texans game Mayo still had a quite noticable limp. I think he is still bothered by the injury from the beginning of the season.

There's no doubt that we are getting less mayo than last year. There's a good chance we'll see a full offering of mayo next year, after he's had enough time to recover.

Playoffs against a big, strong running attack makes me think it could be Seau time (for Guyton, not Mayo).

He seems to have been more involved in the last few games (though the houston game was likely to rest others). I sure wouldn't mind a rested Seau going full tilt on running downs against a good running team.

The best news to me is something that has been overlooked in this forum. They had a "great practice" on Wednesday, in the words of Tom Brady. Traditionally when they have a good practice it carries over. BB said the team had a "great practice" on the week we beat Carolina 35-7.

For a number of reasons, I think having Seau on the field and on the sidelines will be incredibly important in the playoffs. Along with making plays, helping Mayo and Guyton keep their wits about them on the first drive and thoughout the game and ensure that they don't get overexcited and trust their abilities and the gameplan is beyond important.

Mayo and Guyton need to have good games Sunday. Seau will help them.

I think Seau will play a big role in this game. Rice won't beat us inside, we need to set the edge in this game or we will be in trouble. Their receivers are terrible and can't get open.......that is the biggest reason for Rice catching so many out of the backfield.

My biggest worry is seeing Rice or MaGahee ripping off a huge (as in 60 yard+) run or two, so I think the safeties stay back. Sunday is going to be classic Belichick bend-don't-break defense imo.

Basically what you do with Rice is what Green Bay did with him and what the Patriots did with Jones Drew. You close outside lanes and force them always to go inside. Willis McGahee is now used primarily for red zone runs. He has talent, but Rice is the true workhorse.

If we're getting less Mayo, then it's time for AD to bring more Mustard, and then we can Relish another victory!

Hot Dog! :singing:

I want to embarrass those douchebags. Would love nothing more for them to cry after the game about Brady and the refs.
