Ok, now that the playoffs will be soon underway. What team do you guys think wants to win the most? At this time of year, I usually don't care about talent as much as heart. To me, the following teams want to win the Superbowl the most:

1. Cowboys

2. Chargers

3. Saints

4. Packers

I'm not to sure the pats are playing with as much heart as I'd like at this point. That could change as the playoffs rolls on, but right now i don't see it.

I have a hunch that the cowboys will win....

Thoughts?

Everyone has the will to win-
the separator is identifying who has the greatest will to fully prepare themselves to win.

I'm not sure the laid back Wade Phillips /Tony Romo-led gang have the necessary focus, work ethic, intelligence, and roster/gameplan flexibility.

San Diego, Green Bay, and the Patriots (wishful thinking on my part?) would be on my short list.

Cowboys

Chargers

Packers

Vikings

My guess is that the Saints and Chargers would want it the most. Neither team has won a SB. Certainly the fans want it most. That first one must be sweet. Of course I wouldn't know, as a Charger fan, I have never had that experience...in ANY major sport. Good grief, it's about time I'd say.

It's us d%#*!@t! Everyone is writing us off as in rebuilding mode, or worse, has-beens who have been surpassed by the Colts (CHOKE) as the team of the decade!! What kind of BS is that? We need those Mel Gibson blue faces or John Belushi roaring and yelling, "Whose with me?!?" and running out the door of Delta House! Where's our mojo!?

The first one is amazing (they all are). I was lucky to be there for the Pats first win. The emotions following that game are to hard to accurately describe in writing but I will give it a shot.

7 seconds left on the clock Adam V. set to kick the snap, the hold, the kick, its good!!!! Its good!!!!! its good the Patriots are world Champions.

Confetti starts coming down, I start jumping up and down like a little school girl (I am a rather large male), hugging my father, jumping, stopping and looking around through the sea of confetti which seemed surreal, Jumping some more, than after we calmed down we were watching some of the players run around and jump up and down.

We were on the Rams side with mostly Rams fans around us and we had noticed they were gone and we were one of few still up in the top levels but this turned out to be a gift as the Rams fans had left their SB seat cushions and soverneirs behind and we were hording these things up, One for Papa Joe and one for each of my brothers, Jackpot.

Then onto the Trophey presentation. Seeing the Lombardi handed to Kraft and his speech "spirituality, Faith and democracy are the conerstones of our country today we are all Patriots and the Patriots are world champions"

We finally decided to leave our seats up top and went down to field level where by now most even Pats fans had left still some Players and Family and media left on the field.

Then the party really began as it was onto Bourbon St with one Pit Stop at a pay phone to call Papa Joe and the Brothers. Papa Joe let out his pattented yells and talked about how 42 years he had been waiting.

One more pit stop at a store because we needed some championship gear. The only shirts they had were size XL and I needed at least a 2xl but I was wearing this skin tight championship shirt no matter what. We bought like 5 Championship shirts in a mug and with the stuff we got at the stadium we realized we needed a duffle bag to carry this stuff around and to get it home on the plane. So we bought Two Duffle Bags and headed to Bourbon St.

Now if you have ever been to Bourbon St you can imagine what it would be like walking around that scene with two large duffle bags. Get me a beer, a hurricane, and a victory cigar. Then it happened a moment out of a movie. We looked up and there they were two guys that sat directly behind us for years (as long as I was going to games) and we partied with them for a little bit. That was the last time I have seen them (my brother has ran into them once or twice at gillette but not me).

After a few hours on bourbon we hailed a cab back to the hotel and watched primetime over and over again until we finnally were able to calm down enough to fall a sleep.

I was lucky enough to be at SB 38 and 39 and they have close to equally as great stories but I will save those for another time as this was about the first.

Pao, I hope this isn't the year for your first as I am greedy and want my fourth but if you do you will have some memories like these.

Pats have proven that they are the most focused, driven, sucessfull playoff team this decade. They may have some kids that don't know what to do or what it takes to win a playoff game or a SB, but it doesn't mean that they want it less than players on other clubs.

Brady and Belichick would give up their kids for a SB ring. So would Kraft.

I'm not pulling for any of the playoff teams apart from New England. Can't stand the thought of Dolts, Favre, LaClassians, Jersey Green Beans or Jerry Jones tasting any glory. Saints don't do it for me, either.

If the Patriots don't make it, here's to a Bengals-Packers Super Bowl. :eat3::pigsfly:

No reason to think anybody would want it any more than us. After spygate and Brady missing a year I think everyone is a little extra pissed this year though they haven't really shown it yet on the field. Plus we know the type of players BB brings on his rosters. Aside from maybe AD, who strikes you as less committed to the Patriot theme??

I think "who wants it the most" is pretty low on the list of what will determine the SB winner.

The Chargers want it the most IMO because of the immense talent the team has had the past decade only to get tossed out of the playoffs year after year.

Tomlinson and some of the other talented players clocks are ticking down and they need to win NOW.

Personally I think they are the best team in the NFL and SHOULD take home the Lombardi this season.. Rivers is an Elite QB now.

The only team that could beat the Chargers is the Chargers themselves IMO

Is this thread serious?

What team wants to win the most?

As in some teams could care less if they win or lose?

yup I was right. the pats did not have any heart on the field against the ravens. so yes, my thread is serious. if you don't realize that some teams want to win more than others in sports, then i'm not sure what to say.

cowboys showed tremendous fire in their game on saturday- the way NE used to play.
