Pees went to hospital late in 3rd quarter

Shortness of breath. Kept overnight for observation but he is now on route to Boston. Just another thing they were dealing with yesterday unbeknownst to fans and mediot analysts.

Pees was having shortness of breath, so they rushed him to the hospital during the 3rd quarter of the game yesterday. Everything turned out fine, he's flying back to Foxboro now. All the players knew this was going on.

per WEEI

For all the complaining we do about him, he's a part of our family. I hope he's fine and wish nothing ill on him. Glad to hear he's doing well.

Re: Dean Pees leaves game in 3rd quarter

hmmm, interesting, I thought it was a strategy to change the game plan in the fourth quarter, but on hearing this, I guess this has a lot to do with it.

Re: Dean Pees leaves game in 3rd quarter

Wow. Glad to hear hes doing ok.

Re: Dean Pees leaves game in 3rd quarter

damn...doesnt seem like we had a good day at all..

Re: Pees went to hospital late in 3rd quarter

It also explains why the defense seemed to flag down the stretch. Matt Patricia calls the D from the sidelines based on Dean's call from the booth. Things probably got a little hairy as word filtered down that Dean was being taken to the hospital.

Sounds like he's fine but this is just another example of how little any of us or the media knows about all the things that are going on in game with this team dealing with all manner of injuries and issues.

I just spilled my drink. Funny but the timing makes it a bit uncomfortable:p

I wish him the best and hope it is nothing serious.

It might explain the fourth quarter collapse of the defense.

i like how the pats handle this stuff...no excuses or news from players unless someone leaks it out .

Maybe they'll come out next week fired up, distraction free. I'm surprised the defense would collapse like that, it's not like they were calling a different 4th quarter defense than what we've already seen

Wilhite's play isn't exactly something that will take your breath away.

Best wishes to Pees.

I had shortness of breath watching the D play in the 4th quarter too.

Good things paramedics don't "rush" people to the hospital like we "rush" the passer. Things could have ended poorly.

Surprised more of us weren't taken to the hospital this season.

Hopefully we got all of the bad luck out of the way yesterday.

Oh yeah, and get weel soon DP.

Hopefully he will be ok from here on out......shows you the stress of being a coach in the NFL.

I'm sure Pollard had something to do with it

:D
