Watching the Ravens game and they just seem ready to lose. Take aways 2 big runs by them and the Raiders are winning.
The Raiders have won a few games in the last minute this year.

The Donkies are losing to the Chiefs.

If they both lose; we will play ??

As said above, our seed has not yet been locked in.

However, if both the Broncos & Ravens lose, the Texans will have officially clinched a playoff spot.

I think a Raven and Bronco loss, you can pencil in the Jets and Pitt with a Pittsburgh team coming to Foxboro next week. This is the last thing I think any of us want to see. HERE WE GO RAVENS, HERE WE GO !

By my math, the Texans if the Jets win (the Jets would then play the Bengals, both re-matches of Week 17). If the Jets lose, the Steelers (the Bengals would play the Texans, I think).

There's also a possibility that the NFC side next week will both be re-matches of Week 17 games.

You're co-signing something that's impossible. The Jets and Steelers can't be the two wild cards. The Steelers need the Jets to lose to make it, which would eliminate the Jets.

First of all, you need to learn how to use the "quote" button. That will go a long way to help you understanding "so many posts."

Simply put, the Texans clinch if two of Jets, Broncos, Ravens lose. The Steelers clinch if all three of those lose.

Patriot Opponents (In order of likelihood):

Baltimore - If Baltimore wins, they will be the opponent, regardless of what else happens.

Denver - DEN win + BAL loss (Whether Cincy or the Jets win, we still play Denver)

Houston - BAL + DEN loss (Again, CIN/NYJ is irrelevant)

New York and Pittsburgh - Impossible.

If the Ravens win, the Pats play Baltimore.

If the Ravens lose, then it depends on what happens with Denver.

Ravens lose and Broncos win, the Pats play Denver.

Ravens lose and Broncos lose, the Pats play Houston.


The only exception would be some combination of a half-dozen games which would switch the Strength of Victory tiebreaker with Cincinnati. Other than that, the Bengals-Jets game is pretty much irrelevant.


edit: Houston needs two (but not all three) of the Jets, Ravens and Broncos to lose.
If that happens then the Pats play Houston.

If the Jets, Ravens and Broncos all lose, then the Pats play Pittsburgh.
