Re: Adams to Cleveland

When I read this title I first thought it was Ernie Adams taking a job with the Browns and my mind was blown.

Fixed it. :)

FWIW, Pioli went diving himself and pulled up Ryan O'Callaghan, Mike Richardson, Matt Gutierrez, as well as old friends Justin Rogers and Corey Mays.

McD has some ex-Pats as well. But I think with Mangini he's done this a lot since 2006.

Have we ever released ANY player that did not get picked up?
Now we have 3 teams looking for our scrubs, Browns,Chiefs and Denver.

Its interesting that the Lions,Seahawks or Rams never pick any of these
players.

Lions picked up KOC and then traded him to Jets. Jets look in BB's dumpster also.

You answered my question. They didn't want him and just used him for a draft pick.

The three teams you listed have completely different systems. They all basically look for Tampa-2 players.

I still don't know why BB didn't try harder to trade KOC, but, it's in the past now. Moving along.

I can't remember the Viks,Bears,Cowboys,Giants,Bengals,49ers, ,Reskins,Panthers,Saints either picking up our players either.

To me its all ex BB coaches!

...The Vikes, Bears, Giants, Bengals, Redskins, Panthers, and Saints also all run 4-3 systems. The Cowboys and 49ers run 3-4 systems, but they're more along the lines of the Bum Phillips penetrating/pressure 1-gap 3-4, seen in Pittsburgh and San Diego.

...Yes, so the reason that these players go to former BB coaches is because all those coaches run the same system as he does. Make sense?

Does this mean Vince Wilfork is close to coming back healthy?

What happened to Turdell Sands?

Sands was cut a few weeks after he signed. Hasn't signed with anyone since.

We only really like sifting through Oakland's sewage pipe. Go figure...

The Raiders actually have some talent, but, the way that the Raiders play, it's often hard too spot. ;)

Well, the Raiders don't really have a system, so there's your answer.
