One and done and 2 and out-Cmon!

This thread has turned into something else--might want to start another about DBs...

Yeah, imagine people thinking guys like Earthwind Moreland, Patrick Pass and Garrett Mills were great players!

Hank Poteat now. He was GOOD!

For a 7th round pick, Patrick Pass carved out a nice career for himself. Good 3rd string rb. Had decent hands. Good STer.

Poteat is much better than Moreland. He also carved out a decent career. Good dime back.

People only say they will go "one and done or two and out" so they can tell everyone that they are "real fans" and are not "homers". I'm a real fan, and real fans believe in their team!

Next stop...superbowl!

Hah, you probably wouldn't get that one. Spacecrime and I had a pretty memorable Patrick Pass feud more than three years ago. Classic.

I thought real fans were realists.

Go fig...

Ah. Got it....

Please continue.:D

If we can get by the Chargers, I think we're golden. They worry me for a variety of reasons. They're on a roll, and they're going to be looking to finally overcome the Pats in the playoffs.

If Darius Butler continues as an Inactive, anything is possible. Butler makes us long for the good old days of Earthwind Moreland.

I long for the days of World B. Free

Brady said they "love" to face anyone if they play like they did against the Jags, so it doesn't matter if they'll be playing against the Chargers or Colts in the 2nd round..assuming they win the wild card...they'd love to kick Chargers or Colts ***** in their own turf....how they're playing out this Sunday will tell it all who they really want to face....

Are you serious with this comparison?

Butler is a 2nd round pick with 1st round talent. He is a rookie who may be hitting the wall or BB feels that he needs experience like Springs right now. He has shown flashes of being a VERY good corner. He is the future. Butler already has surpassed EM in career INTs and passes defensed.

IMO you need to exercise a little patience and go back and review history a bit.

Butler is so highly touted and athletic that each and every QB the Pats face, with Butler out on the right wing as their opponent, rub their eyes in disbelief for the good fortune of seeing #28 to pick on. If not for the novelty of mixing up the plays, why not throw his way on every play.

He is a rookie and has plenty of room for improvement.

Earthwind Moreland is not better than Darius Butler. C'mon.

As I said in the confidence assessment thread, this is a different team when we have the 5 best on the OL healthy. It looks like they will all be ready for the playoffs unless one gets hurt Sunday *crossing fingers*. With a healthy OL I don't think even O'brien's predictable playcalling can stop this offense (unless we get totally one dimensional - 5 wide). Hopefully this is the end of our 2nd half woes. Even Edelman being back makes a huge difference IMO as he's clearly our 3rd best wr this year.

This guy groundgame has been on Butler all season.

In the Miami game a couple weeks ago, Butler had a poor first half after coming in when Wilhite was torched.

In the second half, Miami went at Butler 5 straight times on passing plays, and all 5 times Butler knocked the ball away.

They went back at him in the 4th once more when Hartline made that 10 yard grab for a first down at the sidelines.

Groundgame again did his thing against Butler.

There is definitely an agenda at work here.

Its odd. Whats next? In 01 should Jace Sayler have played more than rookie Richard Seymour?

Get ready for a long list...

I'd start with a vote for Deltha O'Neil.

Not even close - Deltha was a HOFer compared to Duane "burned again" Starks
