anyone have these numbers?

i know we are close if we finished with an 11-5 record...

will this last game affect it? and if it does, should we give it any thought?

Re: winnigest record in decade

I believe (according to the announcers on CBS), that before todays game the Colts had 115 wins and the Pats had 111.

Re: winnigest record in decade

They were talking about this during the game today-The Colts have 115 wins. Pats have a few games less.

Re: winnigest record in decade

We have 112 wins. The Colts have 115. If the Colts fall in their first playoff game. We just have to get to the AFCC to have more wins this decade.

if you count the playoffs. Pats already have more wins. The 115-112 is reg. season.

just so every one knows what the numbers are . . . they are referring to regular season wins only..

if one wants to talk about over all wins. we have 14 in the PO and the colts have 7, so overall we have more wins, but they lead us by 3 during the regular season 115-112.

overall is 126-119, plus 7 and with Colts only having a max 4 games left they can't catch us . . .

So far in this decade :

Pats 3 SB
Colts 1 SB

Patriots have 3 Superbowls
Colts have 1

Thats all that matters. Regular season means nothing. Also lets see what their record wouldve been last year without their starting QB.

The Colts also have the distinction of not having the guts to go for an undefeated season, and actually *****ing out in front of their home crowd and not waiting for a road game against a weak team to rest their starters (even though a bye was already secured)

The top three were the Colts, The Patriots and then the Steelers. The Colts and Steelers have played in significantly weaker divisions this decade though.

That does not count playoff wins, I believe.

Also any team that takes a dive, like the Colts did today, should 10 wins eliminated.

How can that be true with Tenn, Jax, and Baltimore. Hell Cincinatti has won the north twice this decade.

Pats 3 SB
Colts 1 SB

3 wins in 4 trips..

Colts - 1 win in 1 trip..

4 trips beats 1 trip every time.

The Colts are in the "South" division with Tennessee, Jax, and Houston.

The Squeelers are in the "North" with the Browns, Bengals, and Ravens.

Over the decade, those 6 teams have been poor to mediocre with only 1 or 2 seasons of being good.

The Colts and Squeelers have been in the drivers seat... Which is why we've played them more than the other teams that are outside the Pats division.

Unless you are the Bills with 4 trips and no wins debating with the 99 Rams. 1 trip 1 win.

Yes I know the Bills were an excellent team in the 90s........

OK.. 4 trips with 3 wins beats 1 trip with 1 win every time..

PICKY PICKY PICKY ... :D:p

And, don't forget Bud Grant's Vikings, who also went 0--4 in the SB between 1969 and 1976.

It's only regular season, as others have pointed out. So, as of tonight, the Colts lead the Pats 115--112 in regular season wins since 2000.

Assuming the Colts pack it in for what is supposed to be a blizzard in Buffalo next Sunday and assuming the Pats can beat the Texans, then the Colt's regular season lead would be a mere two games in the W column, 115--113.

I'd like to see anyone spin that as "dominance."

Uh oh, I spoke too soon. HSPN is already preparing a lengthy show on the huge difference between 115 and 113 wins; I understand it's going to be narrated by Marshall Faulk with color commentary by Eric Mangini and Don Shula.

Why would they NOT include playoff wins? If anything those should count 2X.
